Adelaide Bennett is your typical nineteen year old girl. Uninterested, unmotivated, and lonely, Adelaide is casted away to the forests of North Bend, Washington where she resides in her oversized cabin in which she inherited from her bigwig Grandfather after his death. Adelaide feels hopeless out here in the forest until she meets the enchanting, mysterious boy, Dylan Thomas. Muscular, intelligent, and down to Earth, Dylan has no problem stealing Adelaide's heart.
Their love for each other grows intensely, and as life goes on, Adelaide learns things about Dylan that make her think twice about the boy's motivations. Adelaide is forced to face the most vicious drug dealers in all of Washington and has to decide between a life of forever running away or living with the knowledge of her murderous deeds. Will Adelaide's love for Dylan be enough to pull them both through the world of murder and craze, or will it end up destroying her altogether?
