'Dear Kathryn Smith,

I am here to inform you that you are behind on rent payments this month. If you are still planning on living here you will need to pay the landlord $560.00 by the end of the month, or else you shall be evicted. Please notify your landlord if you have any problems.

                                                                    Sincerely,

                                                                     Weston Apt. '

I read to myself. Crap. My mom is gonna kill me if she finds out about everything. So let me explain what is going on here. My job at the cafe wasn't doing so good and they let me go. I have been trying to search for a job for a few weeks now but I have had no luck. Today I had one interview for a different cafe across the street from some big company.  I sighed as I set the letter on the coffee table. I grabbed my phone and keys and headed to the cafe.

"Hi welcome to Rose's how may I help you?" the lady behind the counter said to me.

"Hi, I'm here for the job interview," I replied with a smile.

"Oh okay, let me go get my manager and he can tell you what to do."  She said sweetly. I nodded and decided to sit down and wait for them to return. About five minutes later the same girl came back out with a sad smile.

"I'm sorry but he said he gave to job to a girl who came just before you." I sighed, great now what am I gonna do? I gave her a small smile and thanked her. I walked across the street and just started to walk around. While I was walking I saw a flyer on a post.

"Assistant needed:

Where: Jacobs Incorp.

If interested please call the number below."

I looked at the bottom and saw a number attached. Hmm, I'm not big with business and I have literally never worked with it, but an assistant job couldn't be that bad. Right?  I grabbed my phone and decided to call the number.

"Hi, this is Jacobs Incorporated how may I help you?"

"Hi, I saw a flyer saying you guys had a job opening, an ass-"

"Yes! Yes, we do. Uhm if it is ok with you, could you stop by right now and fill out an application for the interview?" she cut me off quickly

"Uh yes, that's fine. Thank you."

"No thank you," she said and hung up. I had a confused look on my face but quickly shook it off and went to the building.

~At the office~

I walked up to the front desk lady, and as soon as she saw me she turned towards me with a smile plastered on her face.

"Hi, are you the lady who called about the job?" she asked

"Yes." I nodded smiling.

"Okay, I just need you to fill this out, and after you are done you can give it to me and we'll call back as soon as we look at it," she said handing me a clipboard and pen. I thanked her and went to a seating area and filled out the form. It didn't take long and as soon as I finished I was out of there. I walked back to the coffee shop and got into my car and went home. Today has been a long day.
