They were expecting a boy. Therefore, it was no surprise when he came. He already looked like a Weasley, with red fuzz on his head.
"Why don't you let Bill and Charlie in, to see their new baby brother?" Molly asked, smiling.
Arthur, also beaming, went to the hallway outside and came back in with two boys, one of them four and the other six.
"Bill, Charlie, this is your new little brother, Jeffrey," Molly said proudly to her older sons.
"Will you be good big brothers to Jeffrey?" Mr. Weasley asked, bending down.
"Yes," Charlie said solemnly. "I will be better than Bill ever was to me."
"Hey!" cried Bill.
But Arthur interfered before they started fighting. "Boys," he said warningly.
Bill frowned, but decided his attention was better directed at his new little brother.
"Can he play quidditch?" he asked eagerly.
Ever since Bill had gotten a broom for his fifth birthday, he had been obsessed with quidditch. Molly laughed. "Not yet. But I'm sure that since you two are big boys, you can teach him how to fly."
"Hey, yeah!" cried Charlie. "Oh, boy! I can't wait for him to grow up!"
