Deteriorating Team.

...

Kalani Hilliker, Nia Soux, Maesi Caes, Camryn Bridges, Chloe Lukasiak, Elliana Wamsley, and Lilliana Ketchmen all walked into the main studio. They recently lost Brynn and Kendall but gained only Chloe so the team was in an unstable balance. "I have three members being kicked off the team today. Lilliana, Elliana, Chloe. You three are cut from the team." The mothers then grew concerned.

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" Stacey asked. "Cuz in all honesty - you need them. Not my daughter or -- well you need the team to feel complete."

"And it felt complete with Kendall and Brynn but the two left and let's be real I only kept Chloe, Lilliana and Elliana on the team for drama's sake! The two suck at dancing!" Abby yelled.

"Well then why did Lilliana place first in the mini category at her last nationals?" Stacey blinked her eyes.

"Yeah." The other moms started to back up on her which was surprising considering she was one of the worst mothers on the team.

"Anyways." Abby ignored their stupid and hate-filled question. "Maesi," She started, leaving Jamie Caes, Maesi's mother, to perk her left ear up in concern. "Now - the only reason I am keeping you on the team is for the balance of dancers. We can not have a team of 3 dancers!" She yelled. "Elliana, Lilliana, Chloe and your mothers. Go now!" They walked off.

"Alright. Kalani, Nia and Camryn. You three have a trio now the thing is Maesi won't actually be doing any dancing until she proves to me she can with this solo. That being said this is being danced twice." Kalani, Nia and Camryn looked curious. "It is in two categories. The trio/small group category alongside the group dance category. Amongst the overalls." Abby stated and they nodded.

Kalani, Nia and Camryn felt pressured to do their best cuz they had to preform it twice. "Alright. The dance is a pretty lyrical routine entitled Until We Part!" The dancers nodded.

"Everyone is getting a solo this week." She announced. "Kalani. Your solo is a contemporary/ballet piece entitled Gunshot. Camryn. You have a pretty lyrical piece entitled Queen Of The Spiders. Maesi, your solo is a ballet routine entitled Grieving Girl. Nia. Yours is entitled Broke Free and it is ethnical."

Nia felt tired of having ethnical routines. She walked right up to her. "Give me a pretty lyrical routine. I never get those I want one that is not ethnical for once!" She demanded. "You know I can take your spot on the team away from you at any second!" Abby said. "I have had enough. Give me a pretty lyrical routine!" Nia said. "I am not just some black girl."

"Yeah I agree." Holly chained in. "It annoys me to no end that you rarely give her lyrical solos you always have to make her solos ethnical!" She defended. "And on my behalf I get offended by that and I think that you're trying so hard to not be racist but you are being racist and you know it."

"Take back what you just said." Abby yelled as Holly kept saying 'no' but it was drowned out by the sound of Abby's yelling. "You take back what you just said right now!..... you know I can take your daughters spot away from her, right?.... take it back. Before I.... I AM NOT A RACIST!" She yelled.

"That is it! Nia, your solo is being stripped away from you!" Abby yelled.

"You know what! We are done here!" Holly yelled and grabbed her daughters arm and dragged her off. Nia was crying.
