Bryce's POV:

"How exiting you're going to be a dad," Jonathan said as he waited with me at the emergency room.

"I know this is freaking crazy," I said feeling myself sweat.

"I don't think I've apologized many times as I did," Luke said as he accompanied Jonathan on his trip.

"You don't have to keep apologizing I've already forgive you," I said truthfully.

"Keep apologizing because I haven't forgiven you," Jonathan said making him groan.

"I have forgiven him along time ago but it's fun to mess around," Jonathan whispered to me making me laugh.

"The question is have you forgive Ohm," Jonathan said and I frowned.

"Not really.... I don't really know. I mean it's been 9 months since I've seen him. It was just a small bet and yet it messed with my head and how I felt," I said and he nods his head.

"Alright I guess that's logical," Jonathan said.

"What's logical," Luke asked and Jonathan glared at him.

"You still apologizing," Jonathan said making Luke slightly glare at him.

"You're never going to let me live this down are you," he said making Jonathan grin.

"Yup," Jonathan said and the doctors came through he door.

"Who is here for Clarissa McQuaid," the doctor said and I stood up.

"Yes what's happening," I said and the doctor had a frown on his face.

"We have good news and bad news," the doctor said and I felt my heart skip a beat.

"What's the good news," I said.

"You have a beautiful healthy baby boy and baby girl," he said and my eyes widen.

"She had twins how come I didn't know about this," I said and the doctor shrugs.

"The bad news was that Clarissa's body couldn't handle the stress of giving birth. She's okay now but she won't last that much longer," he said and I put my hand over my mouth.

"Oh my god," was the only thing I could think.

"Would you like me to take you to her," he said and I nod my head.

I followed the doctor and I could hear Luke and Jonathan follow behind. He lead me to room 102 and we entered the room. My eyes immediately settled on Clarissa who was pale as the moon. She wakes up and smiles at me.

"Clarissa," I said and she motions me to come forward.

"This is what death feels like," she said making me frown.

"You're not going to die, we have a life ahead of us," I said and she smiled softly.

"Remember our wedding and the vows we've made," she said and I frowned.

"I didn't think I was going to lose you so soon," I said with tears falling down my cheeks.

"I'm sorry Bryce I wish I didn't keep our twins a secret I just wanted to surprise you," she said softly.

"I know," I said and she grabs my hand.

"Promise you'll take care of them," she says and I nod my head.

"I promise," I said and she let's go of my hand.

"I love you Clarissa," I said and she smiled softly.
