The full moon shone down on the clearing that was filled with people of all different shapes, sizes, and hair colors. Each one hair a pair of wolfish ears placed directly atop their heads as well as tails promptly placed above their rumps. Down from the sky came rays of moonlight like streams of liquid silver. The stars twinkled with warm sympathy as they tried to aid their master in giving hope. The clouds which littered the sidelines were slowly closing in on the moon, threatening to eat it alive and banish it from the skies for the night. However the moon was brave, fearless under threat, because it knew it would return the next night.

The other werewolves howled out in mockery and laughter. Each voice was worse than the various wounds which littered your body. You were once their Alpha, their leader, their protector. You had also been their fool. Slowly over time the stronger werewolves of the pack had lost faith in you. The arrival of a new Omega from Irene knows where had truly changed up the "family" dynamic so to speak. That's exactly what your pack was, what they had once been, your family. You knew each one by name, age, and their appearance was burned into your mind. You knew their likes, their dislikes, all of their fears and what brought them joy. You had spent years training under the old Alpha pair. When they passed it was agreed upon that you would take up the station of Alpha after a competition where you won. Of course you kept the nomadic roots of the pack alive and well. Your pack had always been a group of wanders, to find an area and settle down would be something akin to madness. Similarly to abandon the wild and free spirit of the wolf to live among humans also would have ripped your tribe from their history. And now, here this man was claiming that the pack do just that.

You had been beaten by the usurper, though not necessarily fair and square. You were the Alpha! Someone like this could have never taken you alone. But he had made friends with all of the strongest and least loyal members of the pack. With his help he had beaten you and they had been right there to confirm the victory. Even if they were the least loyal, the pack trusted them for their strength. Now here you were, dropped to the rank of Omega in the pack you'd spent your entire life trying to serve. They were going to chase you out, possibly kill you, all because of one traitor who decided he wanted your pack.

"Heed my words now! I am your new Alpha! From this moment on we are no longer the Running Wind pack. We are the Luna Pack. From this day forward you are ruled by a member of the Ultima bloodline, as such it is my right to be Alpha. I am the product of the very first werewolf, and I have the power to curse humans. Together we shall harness this power and turn every human in the world into a werewolf! No longer will we live as a second class specie. No longer will be suffer. No longer will our culture be ignored because humans can't understand it. Rise up, rise up with me brothers and sisters. Chase out the ways of the old with me and bring forth a new dawn. We shall start by chasing out the old Alpha," the man said turning dark amber eyes on you. To chase out the old, it was obviously a cry to chase you out. How could they, after everything you'd done for them! You would flee as much as it hurt to do so, you would find help in another pack and chase out this monster hiding in a wolf's pelt.

"No! Alpha!" A cry went up as the other werewolves descended upon you. That was the cry of a trio of younger werewolves in the pack. Well, they weren't young in comparison to you. You were only 23, hence why a lot of the older werewolves didn't respect you as Alpha even before this happened.

The man turned on the trio, his sharp amber orbs glared down at the three. "Alpha? I am your Alpha now," he growled in a low tone, bearing his fangs. His jet black tail swept the ground as he approached the three.

"Stripe! Jolie! Vincent! You leave them alone!" you cried at the top of your lungs as anger washed over you.

"Don't worry about us Alpha." It was Jolie who spoke. Though her voice was fearful her face was set in a determined look. Her light blue ears stood straight up in defiance. "We'll be fine. Run!"
