Chapter 5- unique incounters

honestly. I didn't think I was ever going to be typing this ever again. Mainly due to all the stapling I have to do every single day to keep the pages right. And that I have to tape some pages as well.. since they get torn. But a lovely commenter suggested that I continue since its good? this is cringy af guys. Its also hard to work on this last sequel that I'm working on now since of me working on a collab story. You should go check it out! it's called a tiny part of life by SinicAndLiv. I'm dreading updating the next chapter even though I have the notebook right now. Anyways here is your chapter.

Ok I got to admit, I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing. However I figured why not, I mean if i'm going to have kids one day i'm going to need to know how to take care of them, and plus! I doubt that Zane was ever evil as a child. Not to mention that he is absolutely adorable when he is this young!

But that is not the point. I head out with the babbling toddler in my arms only after putting him in an overly grown sweatshirt, just in case a storm happens to come around. That's when I decide that we should probably head out to the mall to get the kiddo some proper clothes before I go yell at Lucinda.

so I go to the mall and I find a shop just for toddlers and baby's. I buy all the necessaries such as shoes, shirts, pants, and lets try not to forget about Jackets, gloves, snow pants, hats, and snow boots. I managed to grab footie Pajamas, and a swim suite just in case we feel like going indoor swimming.

After I buy the necessaries of clothes, I go over to another shop to buy him a crib, then I head off to buy him some toys and some coloring utensils. I mean it's kinda necessary, kids need fun. 

After I finish most of this up I managed to run into a familiar face, Laurence!

"hey lady kattttelyy- WAIT IS THAT A KID! WHEN DID YOU ADOPT A KID!! CONGRA-" I swifly put my hand over his mouth, glaring daggers at him, "Laurence shut the hell up, he is not mine. Now this may be hard to explain but short story first this is Zane, Lucinda decided to use her magic again and it ended up in Zane being reverted back into his younger self. That is what Aphmau had told me anyways" I explain to Laurence, the young child looked up to me with his pure innocent eyes confused while he also had his thumb sticking in his mouth.

Laurence looked up to me completely surprised, "I thought you said that you hated kids, and Zane non the less" Laurence complies, I nod slightly, "I did hate kids, I still don't really want to be apart of anything kid related. However, I decided that, if I want to become a parent some day then i'm going to need to know how to take care of one, that is not abby.. and possibly younger.. kinda like Zane. And.. look at him.. He is just a child. An adorable child none the less, plus. I am NOT leaving him with Aphmau and Kawaii~Chan, not until I trust them with a child." 

Zane giggles, Laurence nods at me and smiles down at Zane. I hand Laurence the crib he looks at me squinting his eyebrows slightly, "Why are you handing me this?" he questions, "I think its obvious you dork! you're going to help me carry it back to Aph's Kc's and I's house" I laugh, "WHAT! WHY DO I HAVE TO DO IT!!" he shouts in objection, "because you moron, you're the only person I encountered here that I know" I respond to his idiotic question, he puts on a firm pout and I start to laugh.

"C-Can I at least h-hold him w-when we get there?" Laurence's face reddens slightly, I tilt my head, "Z-Zane" Laurence confirms my suspicions, "yeah sure! go for it!" I exclaim, Zane looks up at me with a tint of worry in his eyes, "don't worry Zane, Laurence is one of the nicest people I know" I say demolishing his previous worries.

The child looks at Laurence and Laurence looks back giving a gentle smile as not to scare the young boy, the child gives a soft smile back, "Owka" he says believing Katelyn. "awwww! How does this adorable goofball turn into the Zane we know" Laurence asks while ruffling little Zane's soft hair. 

I give Laurence a slight shrug, "I don't know but I believe we should give him a second chance at least" I say turning to look at Laurence straight, in his eyes. For a moment I got lost in his bright sky blue eyes. I admittedly snapped out of it, "as a child I mean.. and perhaps he might turn out better then he was previously like maybe he will act differently when he grows up again, or perhaps he will be different in a different future/Dimension" I explain, Zane looks up at me in total confusion. It was my turn to ruffle his hair then.

Laurence had nodded at my statement, "I agree" he chuckles a bit.

"Stawwwwwppppp Ittttttt" The child complains as I kept ruffling his hair, messing it up. "Awwwwwwwe" both Laurence and I cooe in comparison, Zane complains more and even starts to pout.

After putting all the stuff I have received into the car I grabbed tiny Zane and settled him in a car-seat that I had also bought him. Laurence decided to take his own car and we drove back to my shared house. As soon as Laurence and I walked threw the door Aphmau came rushing up to me, "KATELYTN! WHERE IS ZANE AND WHERE DID YOU GO!!" she shouts at me, "I went to the mall to get clothes for Zane and plus he's right here" I point out the child that was in my arms, Aph sighed in relief.

"Jeez Aph, Zane is going to be fine with me, there is absolutely no reason to worry." I comfort her, "But I thought you hated Zane or err kids in that kind of sense" Aph says while crossing her arms.

I sigh enthusiastically and Explain the reason for this for about the thousandth time already. "Aweee! Katelynnn!" Aph cooes, I sigh, "common Laurence" I say while grabbing his wrist and balancing Zane in one arm. He follows and we eventually make it to my room. I set Zane promptly on my bed  while Laurence sets up the crib. After he is done with that he decides to also sit on my bed.

I decided to put some of the stuffed animals in the crib for baby Zane to play with or huddle with when he gets up in the morning. Suddenly when I was about done, I could her faint giggles behind me, The giggles soon turned into a load of laughter. I turned around to find Laurence Tickling Zane.

"Here comes the tickle monster! Rawwwwrr!!" Laurence says with a bit of laughter as well, "NOOO!" Zane yells laughing really hard, "STAWPP ITTT! HAHAHAHA" he yells squirming and still giggling a lot.     

I decide to join in on the tickling fest and Zane was just a little laughing ball of joy. I look at Laurence grinning and he looks back aswell, also grinning.

Everything stops. I stare his light blue eyes once again as this time he stares into mine. The two of us blush and then look away, "Uhhh" Zane questions, "Um! I think I should get going now! I had fun! Maybe next time I could bring over some cookies! I'm an amazing baker! How does it sound Zane!?" Laurence says while stuttering over his words a bit, Zane's face brightened up drastically after being tickled so much, "Yeah!!" He says excitedly, "O-Ok! w-well I-I'll see you guys later!!" Laurence says suddenly, his face still reddened and then leaving.

"What.. Just happened" I whisper to myself whilst putting my hand to my heart for it to beat a bit faster then normal.

THERE! I HOPE YOUR EXTREMELY HAPPY IT TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF BUT I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED THE DAMNED CHAPTER! IT'S STILL CRINGY AF BUT I MANAGED TO CHANGE A FEW THINGS!
