Rosaline
He stays silent as we make our way to my room. I place one of his hands around my neck and my hand around his waist to support him as we walk.
This vampire is too weak for his own good.
I've seen vampires in their lowest states, in their most fearful face and weak traits, but this is the worse I've ever seen.
When we reach my room, which located in the second floor, I lock the door and quickly place him in my bed.
He can barely hold his conscious anymore, but it seems to surprise him when the soft material makes contact with his body. "Where are we?" His voice was low and hoarse, a little trembling.
"My room," I answer. "Wait here, I'll be-" my voice stucks in my throat when I hear a loud sound of bone snapping from his body. So loud and clear.
He's starting to regenerate.
Regenerating is how vampires heal themselves. It's a very painful thing, but it doesn't actually happen this fast. It usually takes 10 to 20 minutes after the vampire's body has stop getting hurt. But it hasn't even been that long with this vampire, has it?
"It's starting," I mutter, more to myself.
But the vampire in my bed is too focus on screeching in agony to even take another glance at me.
His pale face becomes even paler, if that's even possible. And blood slip from the corner of his eyes.
Vampires don't cry tears, they cry blood.
I get on the bed, reaching the vampire and hold him tightly inside my arm. His arms wrapped around me tightly, holding on to me. If he isn't my slave, his power would've crushed my body into pieces. But thanks to the blood I drank, he is now have no ability to do so.
He also won't be able to drink my blood, because if he do, the effect on him will be just precisely like if he drinks holy water; he'll be dead.
Cold one cries against the crook of my neck, the blood from his face wetting my skin. It's thick and sticky, but I try not to mind it.
I am being very kind to this creature. I know. Especially that I'm a Vixen, which most of the time deals with slaughtering evil vampires. I've killed numerous of vampires all my life, but I don't just kill random vampires.
"Shh, it's alright, cold one. Let it out, let it out." I whisper gently to him. I have lots of pity to mostly everything, though I don't always show it. Espescially to this creature, they don't deserve to be treated this way. Don't deserve to get hurt like this.
Another sound of bone snapping, cold one yells in surprise and I hold him still. Countless drop of blood from his eyes.
"It hurts," he says. His voice is so low and full of pain. "Make it stop. Please. Just make it stop. Kill me. Just-" his voice is stopped by another sound of bone snapping.
I've known that regenerate could be such a very painful thing, but I've never known it would be this painful.
"Cold one, listen to me. Hold on. Just hold on." I tell him firmly.
His body struggles sometimes, as if he is being burned inside his skin. But his hands around me never leaves. It holds me tighly as if he will fall into the hell hole if he lets go.
And it doesn't stop until a quite some times later.
Cold one stops moving then. And because vampires don't breathe, I can't tell if he is still living or not.
Just kidding. Of course cold one is not alive.
I'm guessing he either falls asleep magically or he passes out expectedly. From all the pain, it's a very understandable thing.
The blood in my skin still feels sticky.
I lean out a little just to see his face. The bruises and cuts in his skin are slowly fading. He looks so peaceful and to realize that he is actually dead is a very bothering thing.
His raven black hair and thick eyelashes. His soft skin smeared with blood on his sides. His lips looks soft, though it looks a little pale; he must've haven't feed on anything for a while.
There a simple question spins inside my head.
What will I do to you, cold one?
