jackson felt like he was going to explode whenever he was around mark and jinyoung at the same. he was itching to tell jinyoung about himself and the eldest, but he wasn't sure how jinyoung would react.

"what should i do? like, what should i tell him?" jackson paced back and forth while he spoke, hands on his hips. "oh, yeah, by the way, i kind of slept with your roommate during the past month even though we're technically still dating."

mark rolled his eyes from his bed, sitting up before he replied. "first off, why are you in my room talking to me instead of your boyfriend? second, don't say it like that. just say whatever you think is right. if he reacts poorly then it's your own fault for making such a big deal out of it. it's really not that deep, plus jinyoung is a good person so i'm sure he'll understand."

jackson didn't dislike mark. in fact, he wanted to remain friends with him, but he still felt bad for basically using mark. he could never tell what the elder was feeling, though, which made it hard for him to know if mark wanted to be friends as well without asking him directly.

"i guess you're right..." jackson mumbled, nervously nibbling on his bottom lip. mark rolled his eyes and stood up in order to pat jackson on his shoulder. "of course i am." he slowly turned jackson around and pushed him towards the door. "good luck, now get out of my room and go get your man." mark said with a smile and closed the door once the younger male was out of the room.

jinyoung was sitting with an upperclassman on a bench in the courtyard; the upperclassman offered to help him with the homework after noticing jinyoung's struggle during class. jinyoung wasn't bad at actually doing math, but he didn't care enough about the subject to pay attention during class. plus, his thoughts usually got the best of him and he ended up losing himself in his imagination.

"it's really not that hard once you memorize the formulas," the older boy leaned closer to jinyoung a bit in order to write on his paper. "you already know most of the interior angles, and a line segment makes an angle of one hundred and eighty degrees—"

"kim junmyeon!" the two boys looked up due to the sudden shouting to see jackson barreling towards them. "oh, jackson," junmyeon sat up and stared at the brunette with raised eyebrows. "what's up?" jackson breathed heavily and placed a hand on jinyoung's shoulder while he attempted to catch his breath. "i need to..." inhale. "borrow..." exhale. "jinyoung..."

the other two boys looked at jackson with odd expressions before junmyeon turned his head to look at jinyoung. "your name is jinyoung?" the latter nodded in return. this caused the elder to smile and extend a hand in jinyoung's direction. "it's nice to know your name. i'm junmyeon, or suho, whatever you want to call me is fine." jinyoung reached out and shook junmyeon's hand. jackson frowned, feeling like their hands touched for a little too long.

"okay, let's go..." jackson whined after he snatched jinyoung's hand away from the other's, tugging on his arm to get him to stand up. jinyoung furrowed his eyebrows at jackson's odd behavior, but complied and stood up. before walking away, though, he bowed at junmyeon. "thank you for helping me. hopefully we'll talk some more." he smiled at the elder, ignoring jackson's glares.

as soon as junmyeon bowed his head in return, jackson pulled jinyoung away and dragged him back to the dorm. jinyoung allowed the brunette to do so, deciding he would wait until they got to wherever jackson was going before he started asking questions.

the brunette soon entered his own room and closed the door after jinyoung entered. suddenly, jackson didn't know what to do. he planned to just straight-up tell jinyoung everything, but now that they were together, his mind was blank.
