Most people are raised in a house where their parents treated them like a kid and wanted to protect their innocence. Most people weren't very aware of the world around them until they became an adult. Most people weren't or chose not to be exposed to the knowledge of this world.
She was different.
She was raised in a household where there were real standards.
Not those typical, controllative standards that people try to pass off as moral. No, these were true. These were proper.
She was taught to lead.
She was taught to think.
She was taught to be different her entire life.
