Carlisle walked into the kitchen and smilled, Esme was stood at the island in the centre of the room, working on blueprints and swaying softly to music that eminated from a stereo in the corner. Leaning against the door frame he watched as the music started to pick up speed and Esme started twirling around the kitchen.

There was no doubt in Carlisle's mind that she was aware he was watching, still she kept dancing as if she were alone. Last week Esme dragged him grocery shopping, and he followed her dutifully. She had gotten awfully jealous when the female's in the shop kept staring, particularly Mrs. Newton. Carlisle chuckled at the memory and his wife stopped twirling around the kitchen, she stopped giggling also, instead turning and facing him with a small grin playing on her face.

Carlisle pushed off of the doorway and walked toward his wife, wrapping his arm around her waist the other grasping her hand he started spinning with her around the kitchen. Esme laughed and played along, spinning out and then back in, they carried on this way, they didn't know how long.

"Hey guys..." Came Emmett's voice on his way to the kitchen.

"Not now Emmett." said Carlisle spinning his wife again. Emmett entered the room to see his parents dancing, laughing, and generally not being very parent-y, deciding he didn't want to know he turned and walked straight back out.

Carlisle dipped Esme and she gasped, he pulled her back up and into a tender kiss, "I love you." Carlisle said after he pulled away.

"I love you too." said Esme running a hand through his blonde hair, then in a flash she left his arms and was stood on the other side of the room. "Catch me if you can dear." she grinned and then darted past him, into the living room.

Shaking his head Carlisle chased after his wife, "Esme wear are you hiding?" he questioned, he knew she was in the house but her sent was everywhere and he didn't know where to start looking. Trying the dining room he found she wasn't there, next was upstairs, he found her at the other end of the landing smiling madly at him.

He darted toward her but she jumped over him. Flying back down the stairs and now stood on the other side of the spacious living room. Carlisle jumped down the stairs and ran at his wife, he was laughing and he could her bell like laugh as she tried to run away again. Wrapping his arms around her waist he pulled her against his chest, "Got you." he whispered in her ear. Esme let out a laugh as she turned in Carlisle's arms and rubbed her nosed against his before giving him a kiss.

"What is with all the games mon cher?" Carlisle questioned his smiling wife.

"I was bored dear." Esme replied.

Leaning close to her ear he whispered, "And why was that cheri?"

"Hmm. Because I was." Esme searched her husbands amber eyes, rubbing his cheek gently.

Carlisle just smiled and shook his head and gave her another kiss before letting her go. I have to go to work now, Esme pouted.

"Hurry home darling." Esme said before walking back to the kitchen, wiggling her hips on the way.

"You'll be the death of me you know that?" he called out quietly. Esme's head appeared around the kitchen door, "You're already dead."

Carlisle shook his head, in flash he was across the room giving her another kiss before he had to leave.

A/N I realise this is short and crap, but hey i have no inspiration right now.
