Awaken

Once I awaken, I see that I am in a cage. "Hello?"I ask. Nobody answers. As I start to walk around I hear a faint noise coming from the farthest corner of the cage.

"What the hell is this?"I say as I examine what's in the corner. Sitting there in bright blue and green hues is a jack in the box. "DON'T" my wolf says, "IT'S A TRAP". "Yeah right. Now shut up you oversized wolf demon."I respond rather harshly. But, she stops talking to me.

I sit cross legged and stare at the box before finally deciding to wind it up. As the music plays I see something in the shadows move. I look back only to find nothing. Nothing out of the ordinary at least. I return to winding the box. As the music nears its end I feel safe enough to close my eyes. I feel myself slowly drifting off to sleep before...."POP! GOES THE WOLF CUB!" somebody yells from behind me. I jump with a start and turn around, only to see no one at all. The only traces of the person is its maniacal laughing.

As if on cue a small light flickers from somewhere. As my eyes follow the writings on the cave I start to see the shadows move. Once I come across the last of writings, the shadows all stood there acting out something. As if they were in a play. The wolf shaped shadow growled at all the other shadows as they seemed to cower in fear. As the wolf shadow attacked on of the shadows,the seemingly vampire one bared its teeth and attacked the wolf. The vampire and wolf shadows fought until the wolf killed it. Next, the wolf attacked the seemingly human group. The humans fought hard, but still the wolf won and killed them. As the wolf howled a whole army of shadows came behind it and attacked. The army fought and fought until they had "chained" the wolf. The supposed leader of the army shot the wolf. As the army carried the wolf to another part of the wall, I followed. Once they stopped they seemed to be at a zoo. The took it in and put it in a cage,laughed at it,made it do tricks,and chained her so it could be petted.

At that exact moment I realized what the shadows were explaining. As I went back to where the writings were, I finally understood what they said:

"HISTORY REPEATS"

"You mean me,don't you?"I asked the shadows. The lead one nodded. I finally understood. Ten million years ago the event that the shadows reenacted happened. It was called "War of The Races". It was about a female wolf shifter who fell in love with a vampire prince,and when they left the palace to find some lost friends they faced many trials until finally the turned on each other. And because the girl harbored a dark wolf spirit everyone but the wolves,unicorns,and pegasii. In the end the evil girl was the only one on get side left,and when she was defeated the kingdoms put her in a zoo for everyone to see. That wolf was my grandmother.

"Then that means...."I gasped as I realized that that was going to be my fate. I was going to be put in a zoo. Tortured. And broken from those I love. So I did the only thing I could.
