Chapter 3: My Knight in Shining Armor

(Star's P.O.V)

"Hmm this pasta is AMAZING!" i chuckled at my cousin devouring her pasta, and in within minutes, she was practically licking the sauce off of her plate.

"Why thank you cous!"

After I dragged Ella down the stairs, she refused on making lunch...well dinner now since it was five o' clock, so I obviously had no choice but to whip up something quite quickly in order to keep myself from dying of starvation.

"So, what are your plans for today Star?" she asked out of pure curiosity.

"To be honest, I don't have an answer to that. I thought I would sit in my room all day as I usually did"

"Wanna go to the mall with me and get a new oufit?"

"Nah, I think that I'll pass on that offer, you can go ahead and have fun, I might take a walk or something."

"You sure? love I don't want you roaming the streets of Weston, Cheshire all by youself at this time in the evening." El replied worriedly.

"No, El I'm quite sur I can handle myself. Besides, if anything happens, I will be sure to dial you up. Okay?"

Ella nodded her head and the conversation was ended. I didn't even realize that Ella got up from the table until she turned her full attention to me and ended our silence clearing her throat. She said she was leaving for the mall and left me alone to my thoughts.

A normal sixteen-year-old would be at a party or at a friends house at about this time but me, I wasn't a normal teenager, I had no friends' house I could go to or even throw a party for that matter. Even back in Florida I had never attended a real party. Shocked? Well don't be, if you count going to your seven-year-old cousin's birthday party then, I am officially cool! Yay! Pathetic right? I know, but don't judge, I can have fun without friends on a Saturday night right?

I got up from my seat in the kitchen and went to clean up the kitchen from the huge mess Ella and I made while attempting to make "the most delicious pasta ever"

when I was done cleaning up I raced up the stairs and into my temporary bedroom. I grabbed my jacket and threw my jacket over my shoulder and slid my beanie over my head. I grabbed my keys off of the shelf and shoved it into my purse along with my cell phone and lip-gloss.

As I opened the front door, the cool winter breeze blew onto my face like a dove's kiss causing me to shudder. I tightly tugged my jacket to my body in an attempt to keep myself warm and locked the door behind me.

..

I slowly walked down the dark and lonely streets of Cheshire dumbfounded by the sight of the beautiful sun setting in the distance.

I turned on many different unknown streets. Don't ask me why but I just did. The fat that I was alone brought a smile to my face. That's when realization hit me. I was finally alone, I could finally think things through, plan my entire week and most importantly clear my thoughts.

Walking near a small park, I heard the ringing of my phone through my purse, ridding me of my thoughts

When I saw the collar ID, my heart nearly lept out of my chest in excitement.

I haven't spoken to any of my friends in so long. I was so caught up in being miserable that I forgot to call them and here she is calling me, I practically squealed when I answer the phone.

“ASIA!!!” I screamed into the phone before she even got I chance to even speak a word. I couldn't hide my excitement.

“Heyy girl! How have you been? How's England? Why haven't you called us s-”
