Yurio POV
6 months later
I was in my room grooming my cat, when I got a call from Minako. How she got my number, I didn't know. I picked it up anyway. "Minako how'd you get my number?" I demanded.
"Yurio? Is that you?" She sounded terrified. I heard taking shaky breaths.
"Yes. What's wrong? Did something happen?" I asked her
"Yeah. Awful. JJ and his army of bodyguards came into our house and knocked Chris and I out and then when we woke up we were in a room with no doors or windows." Minako rambled out.
"Holy crap."
"That's right. We're fine, there's a bed and a tv and they give us food, there's a place we can charge our phones. We just need to talk to Yuuri and Viktor."
"Just call the cops or something!"
"We've tried trust me. All emergency numbers are blocked. JJ told us we'd regret if we got the police involved, so don't call anyone please."
"I'm giving the phone to Viktor and Yuuri."
"Okay."
I gave the phone to Yuuri and they had a quick conversation. "It's alright." Viktor said to Yuuri.
"I'm fine. I can't break down now. That wouldn't do me any good, much less Minako and Chris." Yuuri said. I was surprised. Normally he'd spiral into depression. "Yurio why don't you invite Otabek over we need all the help we can get." Viktor said.
"I'm already here." Otabek said appearing behind Yurio.
"How did you.... Get in our house?" Yuuri asked.
"I gave him a key." I replied. Yuuri didn't seem to hear me. He began pacing across the living room.
"We have to go get Emiko. Viktor write this down." Viktor nodded and grabbed a pen and a notepad. "Yurio, Otabek. You guys go to the grocery store and buy baby food, then go to the house and home store and buy a crib. I'll give you some money. Buy Beka some food while you're there if you need to." Yuuri continued as Viktor wrote.
"Makkachin needs some food too." Viktor added. Yuuri nodded.
"Viktor and I will get Emiko. Do you remember how to get Minako and Chris's house?" Yuuri wondered.
"Yuuri." Viktor interrupted.
"I could just- yeah?" Yuuri snapped to attention.
"Are you alright?" Viktor asked, worry clear in his tone.
Yuuri stopped pacing and looked at all of us. I assumed we all looked pretty worried. "Nope, this is eating me up from the inside out." He said with a slightly deranged smile. Viktor looke at him, mouth agape (A/N- whenever I see that word I think of Yurio prancing across the ice to Agapé). "Okay, we all know what to do, let's go. Viktor you're driving." Yuuri said after a moment. He grabbed Viktors hand and marched out the door. Viktor let out a yelp at the sudden pull on his arms. As he was dragged past Otabek and I, he handed us a shopping list. Otabek read it over my shoulder. There was money on the back. "I guess we have to get going. How are we going to bring a crib back on your bike?" I asked Otabek. He cringed slightly, and muttered something under his breath. "Tell Yuuri to just bring the crib at Minako's house, I'm sure they'd have one considering it's their child." Otabek said after a moment. I took my phone out of my pocket an told Yuuri what Otabek said. 'good idea' Yuuri replied a few minutes later. "Let's go." I said. We went outside and climbed on to Otabeks bike. I gripped the back of the seat. "You're going to fall off." He told me.
"No I won't" I objected.
"Seriously, it's happened before." He grinned. I rolled my eyes, but I stayed in the same position. Otabek shrugged and truned back around. "Don't say I didn't warn you." He started the motor and we sped down the road. He was right, I almost fell off. I wrapped my arms around his waist, and immediately felt safer. Otabek was warm, even though it was cold and windy outside. A few minutes later, we arrived at grocery store. "Get a cart." I said.
"Why? Can't we just use a basket?" Otabek said.
"Just get a cart. Because I said so."
"Okay...? I still don't see why we need it." He grabbed a nearby shopping cart. I climbed in the front part of the cart, where the groceries go. "What are you doing?" Otabek asked me.
"I'm going to grab the stuff off the shelf as we pass it." I said, settling into the cart. About an hour later we were done shopping. We paid and Otabek rolled the cart to the parking lot. We were parked on the other side. "Run there." I suggested.
"Excuse me?" Otabek asked, surprised
"Run. Like a race car."
"What are you, five? I thought I was dating a 16 year old."
"We're... Dating?"
"I gave you a cat and you kissed me. We've been out together a few times. I carried you home after you got electrocuted."
"What? Well- uh, fair enough I guess." I didn't not want to date him or anything. "Just, run through the parking lot?" I begged.
"Fine." He started to jog.
"Faster!" I exclaims he broke into a run. I laughed. I hadn't done this in years. I heard Otabek laugh.
TIMESKIP~~~ that night.
Otabek POV
Emiko was a well behaved child. She had this whole feeding schedule, so she wouldn't wake up in the middle of the night, hungry. That meant silent nights. I slept over that night, in a sleeping bag on Yurio's floor. Eventually he got cold and climbed into my sleeping bag. "What are you doing?" I whispered.
"I'm cold, you're warm. Shut up and go to sleep idiot." He whispered back. I smiled. I heard his breathing steady. He was asleep. Soon I fell asleep myslef.
