Monday

I wake up to Aaron crawling into my bed "you're too far away."

I stretch and sit up "what time is it?"

He shrugs his shoulders "how am I supposed to know? Mom's making waffles!" He jumps off the bed and runs upstairs. 

Rolling over, I pick my phone off the nightstand. Nine twenty. I turn on music and get up, looking through my clothes I pick out a tank-top and a pair of shorts. I throw on my clothes, grab my phone, and headed up stairs. I find everyone already at the table so I sit down. "What are we doing today?"

With a mouth full of food my dad says "I'm going to look for a job."

"So that means I have to stay home?" I say sadly as I take a bite.

My mom shakes her head "the cars got here this morning. Why? Where do you want to go?"

I pipe up "I was hoping I could go to target to get a couple things for my room?" 

She sighs "what about everything from your old room?"

"Just a few things. Pretty please?" I beg.

My dad smiles at her "let her go."

"Fine stop ganging up on me. Just don't go over board okay?"

I squeal "thanks mom!" I take my last bite, give her a hug, and grab my keys.

"Right now?" she turns to look at me.

"Yep!" I run out the front door and give my car a mini hug before I jump in. Quickly I type target into my phone's gps, then make the twenty minute drive. Once I get there I go inside and walk around for a little while, finding a few things I like. When I check out I end up with a circle gold mirror, fake flowers, and a lamp. I set them in the back of my car and drive home. Once I pull into the driveway I get everything out of the backseat and go inside.

"I'm making sandwiches for lunch" my mom yells from the kitchen.

"Alright I'll be back up in a couple minutes." I run down the stairs. As I'm heading to my room I look out the back door. Alec and his friends are already in the pool. I shake my head, how is it so easy for him to make friends. I set everything up in my room then head back upstairs. I sit on one of the kitchen counters "how long have they been out there?" I ask looking outside.

She smacks my leg with a towel so I hop down. "About an hour? Can you be a doll and tell them lunch is ready?"

"Fine." I open the back door and take a few steps "Lunch is ready!" 

Alec hops out of the pool "alright we'll be in in a minute." Everyone starts climbing out and drying off so I turn back and go into the house. I sit at the table and my mom brings me a ham and cheese sandwich. Everyone makes their way in and takes a seat. 

"I'm Breanna" the brown headed girl says as she sits next to me. She points to a muscular guy "that's my boyfriend Quentin." She goes around the group of kids "Tanner and Paris are dating. That's Dylan, he's dating his hand." 

I choke on my sandwich. Alec rushes over and starts to pat my back "are you okay?"

I swallow my food "perfectly fine!" 

Dylan comes over and tries to shake my hand "I'm Dylan!" I hold up my fist and fist pound him instead "you must be Alec's little sister." 

"Yep." I say trying not to laugh as I look at Breanna. 

Paris sits on my other side "Hi I'm Paris." I wave to her. "You should come swim with us."

"Oh I don't know I was going to hang out with Aaron."
