Secret Agent

Attack

Hi! It's me. Ashley. I'm in 6th grade and my birthday is tomorrow! I'm turning 12 and I'm so excited.
"Ashley! Come eat!" My mom screamed
"K mom!" I yelled back
I ran downstairs really fast. I was so hungry.
"Are you excited for your birthday honey?" She said as she gave me a kiss.
I didn't want to be mean, but I was a little too old for baby kisses. I pushed away from her a little. She laughed.
"Ok honey go eat" She said.
My dad came and said "Yum. Smells delicious. What's for lunch?"
"It's chicken soup with salad." Mom said
"Chicken soup" my dad said dreamily.
Then he went back to reality. He checked his watch.
"Oh I have to go. Let's go Jo!" My dad said.
Jo is my moms name. And Mike is my dads name.
"Where are you going dad?" I asked
"Oh um. You've never asked that question before. Why do you ask that?" My dad said.
"And why did you never tell me?" I replied.
"Honey it's not something you should know" my mom said.
"Ok..." I said
"Bye!" They both said as they left the house. As soon as I heard the door close I went upstairs. That's when I heard a strange banging on the door.
I slowly grab the nearest thing which was a pillow. "Not good enough" I thought. I walked over and grabbed my emergency supplies which my parents gave me.
It was a knife and a baseball ball bat. But I didn't think that was good. It was dangerous. I grab a frying pan which was in the kitchen.
Then the banging was louder.
I was scared. They knocked down the door. They were strong.
They had guns.
I didn't know what to do.
"Where is agent Jo? And agent Mike?" One of them asked
"Who are you guys" I asked.
"Kill her"" one ordered. About 3 of them came to me. I don't know how this happened but it did. I kicked them and punched them and did cool moves I didn't even know how to do. I almost knocked down all of them. The rest fled and left.
Later, my parents came home.
"Hi honey" My mom said. She paused and looked at me as if something was wrong. "Did something happen?" She asked
"So... who is agent Jo and agent Mike?" I asked
"What do you mean?" My dad replied.
"A bunch of people came and attacked me." I said
"I don't know what you're talking about" my mom said.
"So your not secret agents or spies?" I asked
"Go to sleep. It's late" my dad said.
I left upstairs to my room.
