A large, uneven split in the rocks was the only entrance into the mysteries cave. Cool, misty air filtered out through it whipping the hair off my face. I desperately squeeze though the jagged gap, into the darkness.

Dust swirled around the cave as I  stepped in. The dripping from a wet patch on the ceiling echoed around the hollow cave. The water landed in a mossy puddle in the middle of the cave. The puddle was thick with mud.

Shadows bounced off the curved walls. Big, hairy, four legged creature hobbled around.  Their horrifying  pants filled my ears.

Bump...bump...bump

My rough heart beat shuddered through my body. Cautiously, I took a step back.

CRACK!

The impact of my back roughly hitting against the wall sent a wave of rocks raining down against me.

The once heavy panting was replaced by silence, the only sound in the cave was the sound of dripping water.

Drip...Drip...Drip...

Suddenly, the sound of thumping paws against the the ground raced up behind me. I stood frozen, to afraid to move. The shadows surrounded me, eating me up. Warm air hit my legs, I could feel them around me. I slowly turned around towards the cave entrance. Light spilled out from the crack, filling the cave with shades of yellow and gold. Long blonde hairs brushed my ankles, long tails wagged behind them, their wide black eyes curiously staring up at me.

Bark...Bark...Bark
