As the line rotated to hand in our weapons, I grew slightly agitated. I have had most of these pre-z from my father and I seriously don't want to lose them.

10K went ahead of me, pulling out countless weapons. When it got to my turn, I began to pull out my weapons. Starting with my katana, then my blow darts, rifle, shotgun, jagged knife, corkscrew, and even a toothbrush shank. I left the dagger in my boot though.

The guy gave me a look, making me sigh before pulling some ninja stars out of my other boot. "If I don't get these back, heads will roll." I said with narrowed eyes and a smirk, listening to whistles from behind me.

"Damn, her and 10k are so alike." Mack voiced.

I blushed but stepped forward anyway, one lady began to scan me and I got worried. It beeped at my shoe and I put on an innocent face as I pulled out my other knife and gave it to the guy.

When she was finished with me, I stood next to 10k and huffed while crossing my arms. Now I am completely defensive. "If my father saw me right now he would be utterly disappointed." I told him in a hushed whisper. He didn't understand why but I figured I would tell him eventually.

We entered the camp and noticed three teens leaning in to the camp, begging to come in. A girl kept her eyes locked on 10k and when I looked, he was keeping his on her. I resisted the urge to glare and just nudged him, we were falling behind the others. "Come on."

We caught up with the rest of our group who is following the guy Garnett knows. He was giving us a tour of the place, telling us the reason for the no weapon policy.

We finally made it to the cafeteria and my stomach rumbled pretty loudly. I ignored it and wrapped my arms around my stomach.

A door squeaked open and in entered the teens from before. My eyebrows raised in curiosity. Something didn't sit well with me about them.

"What's their story?" Warren asked.

I listened in on his response while eyeing the three teens sitting alone.

When he finished, he mentioned food. "First meal is on me. The rest you trade for."

"Hell yea! I'm starving." I whispered to 10k, almost drooling at the sight.

He chuckled and handed me a plate, grabbing one for himself. After I got some of everything, I sat at a table, 10k next to me. Soon, the rest of our group came and sat down.

My eyes stayed glued on the three people secluded from the others. The girl and one of the guys stood up, sparking worry inside of me. None of the others seemed to notice except for me that 10k shot up to follow her.

"Dude. Dude, slow down. They're not gonna take it from you." Addy told Mack after watching him scarf down the food.

"So, we got the lowdown on the sleeping situation." Warren announced. "There's a room that two or three of us can share, and there's a communal bunk."

"Dibs on the room." Murphy said, raising his hand. "What? Be less risk of anyone figuring out who I am." I watched as the food threatened to spit out of his mouth.

"Dude, you still got food in your mouth." I pointed out with a look of disgust.

Murphy glared at me.

"I think we should give it to those two." Doc said, pointing to Warren and Garnett.

Their eyes widened. "What? No, no, no. We're not a..."

Addy laughed. I never even knew that they weren't together, probably because I focus too much on 10k. From now on, I will focus on everyone.

"Yea, you guys take it." Mack said.
