James pulls into a crowded parking lot, and we both start to look for a free spot. Once James has the car parked, we both get out of the car and start to head towards the Amusement Park.

"This is one of my favorite Amusement parks. Every Friday night, it's half off for high schoolers, which is usually when I go with my friends so that Peter and Sirius can pay for it. I mean Remus and I always offer to, but Sirius is too proud, he hates that his parents give his brother everything yet he gets nothing. And Peter is too embarrassed. I hate it, I just wish everything could be equal, or that I could take all my friends and wrap them in a warm blanket giving them all cookies."

I laugh. "That's cute, never took you for the mother of the group."

James laughs as well. "Yeah, I guess I'm the overprotective mom, Remus is the worry filled aunt, Sirius is the fun uncle, and Peter is the Grandmother, making sure everyone has food."

We get up to the ticket booth, and James pulls out his wallet, handing the guy at the booth enough money for us to get into the park.

Once we're inside I say, "You didn't have to do that, you paid for dinner, I could have paid for this."

"It's fine, besides what kind of guy would I be if I didn't pay for the first date."

"I dunno? A guy? Guys don't always have to pay for everything," I tell him.

"True, but doesn't mean I'm gonna let you pay. I'm gonna pamper you while you're still allowing this date. I still don't know if I'll have a second one."

"We'll see how this goes. Who knows, maybe you will get a second date."

James lightly blushes.

"Come on now, let's ride some rides."

We ride a few rides, waiting in semi long lines for each one. After the fourth ride, James buys us some ice cream. We walk around the park eating our ice cream, laughing and joking. Honestly, I'm actually having a pretty amazing time, and I guess I wouldn't mind a second date. Wait, what the hell am I saying? I'm only going to agree to a second date because I want to win the bet. Not because James is actually okay. Right?

"Okay, so you're saying, that because you were excepted into our school, your sister just stopped talking to you?"

"Yeah, Severus says she was jealous because I was gifted and she wasn't." I shrug.

James's face darkens at the mention of Severus. "Are you still friends with him?"

I scoff. "Yeah right, he was an asshole in the fifth year, don't you remember? He said I was a worthless wanna be that cheated their way into our school."

James scowls, "Yeah, I nearly murdered him for that."

I grin. "I know, Remus had to hold you back. Your face got all red, it was cute."

"Wait a second. Did the Lily Evans just call me cute?"

Once again, my face glows a bright red. "I- uh, maybe?"

James laughs. "Never thought I'd see the day Lily."

"I never thought I'd agree to a date with you, yet he we are." I joke.

"I don't think anyone did." He laughed.

"You know, you're probably right."

After a few more minutes, James stops at a game booth. One where you have to knock the bottles down with three throws. "You see that white bear, I'm gonna win that for you."

"Yeah okay, I've never seen anyone win this game. Good luck."

James just smirks and pays for the game. The game tender hands him three white softballs. James places two onto the counter and aims one of them at the bottles. He knocks the top one off clear off of the table. He grabs the second ball and knocks the right one off of the table in one quick movement. He picks up the last ball, winks at me, and whips it at the last bottle. The bottle flys from the table to the ground and James turns around grinning.

"Eh? What did I tell you? One white teddy bear please."

The game tender grabs the bear from its place on the wall and hands it to James.

"Here you are, my lady." He hands me the large bear, and I laugh a bit more, yawning a bit afterward.

"Are you tired? It is getting late, I can bring you home if you'd like."

I nod my head, not really wanting the day to be over, but I am very tired.

James smiles lightly, taking my hand.

We head back to the car, and I tell him to drop me off at Marlene's, also giving him her address.

On the way home, I guess I must have fallen asleep, because in, what seemed like two minutes, I felt the car go over a bump, and slow to a stop. I open my eyes and realized that the top is up, and we're at Marlene's house.

James and I, once again, get out of the car, walking up the pathway to Marlene's door.

"I had a fun time tonight," I tell him, holding the bear behind me.

"I'm glad, do you maybe think we could have a second date?" He asks, scratching the back of his head.

I nod, smiling. "Of course." I lean forward and peck his cheek. I then swiftly open Marlene's door, stepping inside and swinging the door closed. I glance back at the door, grin, and dash up the stairs to Marlene's room.

"Lily! Finally! It's nearly one in the morning!" Marlene says, looking up from her magazine.

I roll my eyes, flopping onto her bed.

"Okay, now give me all the details."

"As you wish your highness." I joke.

I tell her everything, how he took me to the diner that Remus's aunt apparently owned, then to the amusement parks. I told her the stories we shared, and how he won me the white bear. Finally, I said, "And then I may or may not have kissed his cheek?"

"What! You kissed him!"

"On the cheek! It was as a thank you."

"Yeah, sure. A thank you. That's exactly what it was." Marlene smirks, "you totally like him."

"I do not," I firmly say. "I only kissed him as a thank you, and we're only going on a second date because I will win your dumb bet. He may be a lot nicer than I originally thought, but I will only ever like him as a sort of friend. Nothing more."

"Whatever you say Lils, but in six months when you're still dating him, I'm gonna say I told you so."

"Okay, whatever you say girl."

Currently, I love a few musicals. Hamilton, Heathers, Dear Evan Hansen, Wicked, Shrek, and BMC. I need to listen to RENT, Something Rotten, and Amelie. Any other suggestions?
