Prologue
It was a love at first.
A puppy love.
A childhood fantasy that became real.
But it crashed like hell. From an epitome of gaiety, the feeling suddenly hit off the earth's incrust- she's now a fallen angel.
Chapter 1
"This is so gross, of all people, it shouldn't be him! No! Absolutely never!"
I stand like a statue for a minute. I can't force even the tiniest part of my limb to move. Words to utter are lost in bewilderment.
Once again, I'm chase- chase again by a nightmare that I thought I've already forgotten.
"Where in hell should I go?"
Oh my, I can't hardly think!
"C'mon sluth, let's go and find a safe place," I said talking to my dear self.
I quickly search the area. I run as if there's no tomorrow when I finally reach the corner of the alley that I saw afar.
Darkness embraces every inch of the place. I shouldn't be scared. There's no place for the term, I should escape.
Eyeing outside, still ensuring that he's still there, a cold cloth with a strange smell covers my nose.
Everything turns black.
Chapter 2
The balm scent of the maple syrup and the aroma of a freshly brewed coffee tickles my nostril- inviting me to have an early breaky which is not my style.
The sun scorches mercilessly as I stretch my lazy arms after the sunlight peeps and wakes me up from my slumber. I rub my bleary eyes and move my hand, searching for my phone, which is my usual routine every morning.
No phone! No side table!
Yes, this isn't my room!
I try to remember what happened last night.
The alley's corner! Yeah, I was there- hiding. Hiding to someone I loved and hated the most. I don't want to see him but why on earth I'm sneaking, still wanting to see his bedimpled cheeks. All of a sudden, I felt totally dizzy and it became total darkness.
Realization hits me. Somebody kidnapped and brought me here! I need to go out from here.
I try to unclose the huge block window, but it doesn't work. All I see is the never ending addle of the lush green field.
I hurriedly go to the door and try to open it. To may dismay, it's lock!
Chapter 3
"One, two and three!
It's the last key out of the three keys I saw at the room's dainty drawer. The doorknob keeps on moving but the door is still seal.
I sit motionless in the baroque flooring as few drops of my crystal clear tears fall on my ebony cheeks. I quickly wipe it out. Being too emotional won't help. I know it. I've been there a couple of times.
"I must find a way to escape. But how?" I utter perplexly.
I stand up again. I put the last key in the keyhole for the second time while holding the doorknob as tightly as possible, giving my full strength as I pull the door panel towards me.
Click.
The door opens.
I grasp my breathe. This couldn't be.
