The Extraordinary Reward

Genesis 15

We are the children of God. God gives rewards even though we have failures. Sometimes we thought we are alone but we fail to notice that God is knocking on our hearts asking if He can enter your life. He is asking if He can help you. He sees your hardships while you carry it yourself, he wants to partake them all for you. All you have to do is to accept Him. When you accept Him with all your heart, soul, body and mind as your One and Only Saviour greater things is about to happen to you. Keep the faith, wait for greater things to happen to you.

I.                    Believe in God’s Promises to Us

-          God will give inheritance to Abram but Abram does not know to whom he is going to give this when he died. (Genesis 15:2)

-          Abram has no child, he thought that his servant Eliezer of Damascus will inherit all of the inheritance that God is about to give to him.

-          God told him that he will multiply his descendants just like the stars in the sky. By faith Abram believed God and the proof is us, we are God’s promised to Abram. (Genesis 15:4-5)

-          Sometimes we doubt to God’s promises to us because we are expecting things will happen the way we want it to turn out. We just have to believe and wait for greater things to happen just like what Abram did. God’s plan is perfect, it is always right in timing, place and manner. (Genesis 15:6)

II.                  Believe in What God Can Do For Us

-          Abram asked God how he can know that he will gain the possessions, God just simply ask him to give Him an offering. (Genesis 15:7-9)

-          In present it tells us that we just have to serve God as offering so that His promises will be revealed to us. We can only possess it if we are willing to become faithful and loyal to Him. But do not be astray if distractions happens in your faith, it is normal. By overcoming distractions you will learn how to strengthen your faith. (Genesis 15:10-11)

-          Remember that unbelievers will mock you down but learn to stand firm with your faith. God is with us, do not be afraid. Always remember that living here in earth is just temporary, our permanent home is in heaven. God’s followers will be persecuted, be ready for that. (Genesis 15:12-16)

III.                Believe that God’s promises is indescribable

-          You never expect what God can give to you. Keep the faith, wait for greater things to happen. If God can do that before, He can always do that for us. (Genesis 15:17-21)

-          Great things happen to those who know how to wait. (Genesis 15:17-21)

IV.                Do not fear for God is always with you (Genesis 15:1)

-          Jesus wants to tell us that whenever we are upset we just have to call on Him.

-          People tend to ignore you when you are hoping them to sympathize with your problem, but in God He will never ignore you. You just have to open your heart.

-          Do not fear when things are turning out to be bad, it’s normal. Believe in God, He will never leave you. Believe in His promises to us.

Conclusion: We are all going to inherit God’s promises to us if we only serve Him and love Him with all our hearts. Let us not be dismay by the things that happens around us. Remember God told us that He is with us, so if we are with Him why should we become afraid? Well of course we are humans but let Jesus calm you <3 God bless you!
