Sometimes I think that what would've been my life if I had a ravishing life? Living in a house with all the necessities in life, waking up every morning in a most comfy and soft bed-with the view of the perfect morning view-the sunlight hitting your face- spreading the warmth in the cold weather. But it was one thing that I never experienced in my life-but I don't complain either for it. I was amazed looking at the New York city through the big glass window, from so high up-it all looked so small from here-high buildings shadowing the small aparments-busy roads-sun shining high in the sky-giving life to the view. It is indeed the most beautiful city I've seen.

I was currently standing in the living room in the most beautiful apartment I've ever seen. I reached the 27th floor-after escaping the death ride in the elevator and almost having a panic attack. But what shocked me the most was when the elevator door opened, I was directly at someone's hallway. My jaw dropped at the sight in front of me, it was indeed the most beautiful home. I was awstruck at the sight of it. The wall's were of pure white pearl colour, and the floor was of dark colour marbles, the room had the best contrast I've ever seen. Some butler saw me standing there and he brought me to the living room and asked me to wait.

There were many boxes placed in the living room, as if packing, but the big glass window caught my attention and without caring I walked up to it.

"Ms. Jones?" A female voice, pulled me out of my thoughts and the view. I turned around and came to face the women. She was maybe in her 60s, her hair was white, which was tightly tied in a bun, she had wrinkles, her eye's were of grey colour and she was wearing a black loose dress.

"Uh.. Hello I'm Elsie Jones" I said, tucking the strand of hair behind my ear which managed to escape. Her face lightened up and she smiled widely.

"Oh dear! Finally you're here. Come have a seat" She said and walked towards the couch and sat. I followed her and sat across her.

"Would you like something to drink?" She asked me politely, crossing her legs and smiling at me.

"Uh.. No I'm good" I said, fidgeting in my seat. I gulped feeling nervous and clenched my hand's.

"Oh dear! Don't get nervous have some wine" She laughed and called Mark, who I suppose is the butler's name, because he came quickly. I got nervous, I was never good with alcohol's.

"I.. I don't drink" I said, shifting uncomfortably. She looked at me and gave me a smile, her eye's twinkled. She ignored me and ordered orange juice for me and wine for her and even said Mark to have one since he's been working too much. Mark smiled and walked away.

"So Ms Jones I wou-" She started talking but I cut her off slowly.

"Please call me Elsie or El" I smiled at her.

"Yes, sure. So Elsie have you ever babysat?" She asked me, indeed she was curious.

"Uh.. no I've never done that" I said her, looking down. I mean back in France, I was occupied with other thing's . I shook the old thought's from my head, before it lead to worst thing's which I don't want to happen right now. Clearly my throat I looked up and continued

"But it's not that I can't do it. I.. I love kid's and I'll be really grateful I would have the opportunity to do this" I said her, giving her a small smile. She was looking at me intensely but a genuine smile on her lip's. Mark returned with the drinks and set on the table.

"Have it, dear" She said me, picking up her wine glass. I muttered a thank you and picked up mine, taking a small sip.

"Elsie, how do you feel about moving to L.A?" She asked me so casually as it was the simplest thing. My eye's bulged out of my socket and my breath hitched. Moving to L.A? That means California? I just shifted here and she wants me to move? Wait.. Does this means I got the job? But will I go?
