Ava POV

It's been two weeks and people still can't stop talking about the fact that I sang at the party. I was so tempted to just scream in the hallways for everyone to shut up and get over it because it's old news.

"Hey A, did I tell you that your video went viral?" Hailz sat down next to me at the lunch table.

My head snapped her way, "what?! What video?!"

"Uhh.. n-nothing... I was just... Uhh.. Oh! I see Kenzie! I'll be right back!" She scurried away before I could demand answers. I scowled and dropped my head onto the table.

"Awww... Someone's having a bad day, you okay, little kitty?" Ryder teased as he took the spot Hailee was at seconds ago.

"Leave me alone, King."

He chuckled, "come on, tell daddy what's wrong."

I picked up my head and scowled even more in disgust, "do not ever say that, you perverted ass."

"Well, someone's on their period," he mumbled.

"Hey, sexy lady!" Jake shouted as he grabbed me into a hug. I couldn't help but laugh at his idiocy.

"Hey, Jake."

"So I heard that seniors will be having a fieldtrip before Christmas break, you guys going?"

I shook my head, "nope, I'd rather stay home and kill myself with junk food."

"Yeah, I'd rather stay home and sleep," Ryder said.

"Mahn come on guys!" He begged, "we are seniors, shouldn't we just go and experience everything for the last year of high school?"

I thought about it, then shook my head, "I'm good."

He sighed, "please? Ryder, come on dude. You guys don't even know what the fieldtrip is about."

I groaned, "then what? Where are we going?"

"We are going camping at a campsite near here. They said its a good place to make memories with friends and there's s lake."

"Hm, that doesn't sound bad, I'll think about it." Ryder said.

"Yes!" Jake shouted, "Ava? What do you think?"

"If you can convince Hailee and Kenzie to go, then I'll go. Both of them has to go if you want me to come along." I grinned.

"What?" He dragged out, "but Kenzie hates camping."

I chuckled, "Yup, I know but if you want me to come along, you need to get her to go, too."

He groaned, "you suck but no worries, I'll convince her."

I snort, "yeah, sure you will."

To my absolute annoyance, he did manage to convince her. So now it is after school, and I'm busy grumbling to myself as I stand, waiting for my car, which is freaken fifteen minutes late!

Bing!

I plugged in my headphones and pressed the 'OK' button on my phone to let it play the message.

Uncle Dave: hey kiddo, Miles is heading there to pick you up. Sorry, I know we are very late but something came up. Love you!

I rolled my eyes. Of course, and my day just gets better. Right when the thought came, I started feeling drops of water falling on me. I moaned, "you're fúcking joking..."

"Hey, princess," Ryder's voice sounded about twenty feet away. "It's going to be raining soon, you should go and wait by the school entrance or you'll get wet."
