"You sure you're going to be okay?" Tom whispered in my ear.

"Yeah I'm fine. I'll just sit around write a song or something," I motioned to my notebook, "Plus, I'm not a sick puppy, I don't need you with me all the time." I could see that dramatic eye roll he made when trying to be funny.

"Well I'll be here. I love you"

"Love you too." I gave him a quick peck on the lips and he left so he could start filming. I turned around just to see Chris staring at me with a raised eyebrow. "What?" I managed to say under his intense gaze.

"Nothing. Just- I was about to leave. Not much fun hanging around here. Uh would you like to come with?"

"I don't know, I was just going to wait. Maybe write down a couple lyrics, just until tom finishes." I didn't want to mention that I had writers block and that I'd probably bore myself to death by the end of the day.

"It uh, takes a while filming these action shots, you sure? I could use the company." I hesitated and looked around.

"Sure, why not? I'll just text Tom." I fiddled around with my phone and texted Tom where I was going, and that I'd be back before he finished before I slipped it into the pocket of my cardigan. "So, where are we going?" I asked as I got into his car.

"You'll see."

We drove around the busy streets of the Gold Coast until we came to a stop in front of a beachfront. "Ah. The Australian beaches." I said in admiration over the view.

"Not just any beach. Surfer's Paradise. It's a long stretch of beach with restaurants and venues. It's actually one of Australia's best holiday destinations. -And you probably don't care." He gave a small earthly laugh. "Figured I'd give you an essential Australian tour since you just got here. Although I'm not Australian, I've been here a couple times."

"Oh no! It's completely fine. I happen to enjoy tours given by cute guys." My chuckle suddenly diminished when I realised what I just said. "Not that you're cute or anything -well I mean you are cute but, well I don't mean- I have a boyfriend so, -you know what? Just forget I ever said anything and let me melt in embarrassment." I looked to my right and there he was, with the nerve to laugh at my utter discomfort!

"Sorry, sorry," he wheezed out in between laughs, "Um, why don't we go out, walk around a bit and get to know each other?"

"Sure, but uh, it's not really the best time for paparazzi and such." Chris seemed to catch my drift as he nodded and reached into the backseat to get an oversized black jumper with a hoodie.

"It's mine. It's clean though. Is it okay?" I nodded with a tint of red on my cheeks as I discarded my cardigan and pulled the thick black garment over my face and let it fall over my slim body. We got out of the car and walked on the sand overlooking the splashing waves full of people. My flip flops dug into the warm sand and I looked over at the mesmerizing face that belonged to the one and only Chris Evans.

"I'm feeling kind of hungry right now, do you want to go eat?" I said. A nod followed and we made our way to the selection of restaurants.

A/N

Hey guys!! This is the second chapter (unedited obviously). I know it's super duper extra short but I swear it was going to be longer but I decided to put the second part into the third chapter to make me feel more accomplished when I post that third chapter and also because I honestly cannot be bothered to post it right now.

I hope you guys like this chapter!! If you have any feedback or (constructive) criticism, I am more than willing to read it.

Love y'all (tries southern drawl bc I'm cool),

Kelly.
