Chapter 1

The light from outside hit my eyes and I rolled over not ready for today. Today was the day I would join the Meet and Greet convention MAGCON and I was excited but nervous at the same time. They only time I sang in front of a stage is when I was 6 and sang the National Anthem but, I threw up when I got off stage.

"Isabella, come on the plane is going to leave you!" my father called from downstairs.

I got up and began to get ready. As soon as I was finished with my routine my dad came upstairs and took my suitcases to the taxi.

"Are you going to be okay without me?" I asked my dad while giving him a big hug. My mom left us when I was just 3 years old and now she lives with her new family somewhere far away.

"I'll be okay," he says and gives me a smile. We do our handshake because my dad and I are more like best friends than the whole "Daddy's Little Girl" thing.

In the car I put on my ear buds and listened to some music. I began to draw in my notebook as it was my other passion amongst singing and dancing. I started ballet when I was 2 and I have been a dancer ever since. Yeah you might think this girl has a perfect life but nobody does. I don't have a mother figure around to help guide me through a little girl's life.

I went through all the security before I had to take my flight.

Flight 501 to Los Angeles, California is now boarding

I handed my ticket to the attendant who scanned it and I rolled my carry on onto the plane. I placed my luggage in the over head compartment and waited for the plane to take off. I got the window seat and plugged my headphones in and closed my eyes.

I wonder what Magcon would be like? As I was dreaming of the adventures I would have I fell asleep and the plane must have taken off. Someone tapped my shoulder which caused me to wake up and I saw it was the flight attendant.

"Miss the flight has landed" she said smiling and I smiled back as an apology.

I grabbed my suitcase and made my way to baggage claim for my larger luggage. I waited outside for my taxi that was suppose to take me to the hotel everyone was going to so we could all meet each other. 

As I walked into the hotel I noticed all of the boys and girl standing together talking. I felt kind of out of place because they already knew each other and I was sort of new around them.

"Hi you must be Isabella!" a girl with beautiful curly hair cheered. "I'm Mahogany Lox, the DJ."

"Yes!" I smiled at her and she hugged me.

 "I'm Mahogany Lox, the DJ,' she said while letting me go. "Trust me we are going to be best friends."

She then waved the boys to come over and I panicked. Okay Isabella don't say anything stupid.

"This is Nash Grier," she said pointing to a boy with the prettiest eyes I have ever seen. "And that over there is his little brother Hayes," she said pointing to a boy that looked exactly like Nash.

"Hey Bella, I'm going to call you Bella now," Nash said while I giggled and Hayes smiled but stood quiet. I could relate to Hayes since I'm shy too.

"This is Matt Espinosa and Carter Reynolds," she said pointing to two other guys who smiled and waved at me which I returned. 

Before Mahogany could muster words two boys interrupted her. 

"We're Jack & Jack," they both said together and I scrunched my eyebrows. It's going to be hard calling them. 

As if they could read my thoughts they answered. 

"I'm Gilinsky or G," the brown haired Jack said and pointed to the blonde one. "This is Johnson or JJ."

"Aw that's a cute nickname," I said and everyone shared the same expression.

"Hey guys come on I'm not a little kid!" he said and crossed his arms over his chest. (A/N: Gosh he's adorable)

"This is Cameron Dallas, Taylor Caniff and Aaron Carpenter," she said gesturing to three guys who waved at me and we all had small conversations.

"Hey where's Shawn?" Matt spoke up and I was suddenly confused, there's another member?

"Oh he's probably playing the guitar or looking for muffins, you know typical Shawn Mendes things," Cam said and everyone began to playfully laugh.

Wait did they say Shawn Mendes. Throughout my time on vine he was the only singer I actually genuinely liked and we have followed each other for a while. I would really die to meet him he is so talented!

"Come on let's go scare him!" Taylor nudged my arm and I followed behind him. He started to walk down the lobby of the hotel into a little closed off section where we heard the sound a beautifully played guitar.

So when it gets hard, don't be afraid
We don't care what them people say...

"Woah he's amazing," I said out loud realizing I was suppose to keep that in my head and the guitar playing boy turned around shocked. 

"Wow thanks Bell!" Taylor laughed and I awkwardly joined in. "But, she's right dude that was good."

"Well thanks," Shawn said while smiling and looking at me also it was really cute. Wait Bella stop it. What are you doing? You just met him... but, he's really cute. 

"Okay Shawn maybe now you can stop staring and I can introduce you," Taylor said which caused both Shawn and I to turn a deep shade of red. "This is Isabella and Isabella this is Shawn."

"Yeah I know, you have a really great voice," he said and I mentally died inside with feels. "Maybe we could sing together sometime."

"That would be lovely," I smiled and he laughed. "You aren't too bad yourself Mendes."

"Guys they are calling us for a meeting," Cam said and we all began to follow him in the direction of a meeting room.

We all sat down at this very large conference table and people were in their own conversations until someone spoke up. 

"Okay Listen Everyone!" a man said while capturing everyones attention. "I am Bart Bordelon and I am here to welcome you all to this tour!" he said and everyone cheered. 

I had my mind on something else, like how there is no way I will be able to perform on stage in front of A LOT of people.
