"What do you mean by check? As I said I'm not drunk."

A certain pink haired woman yelled at the police officer who claimed that she might be drunk.

"But I can very well smell alcohol here, Ms...?"

"Sakura. Haruno Sakura. Now if you may, please be quick in whatever is needed to be done for the 'check' of yours." Sakura said getting frustrated and decided that it was better to give in to the officer's demand besides she had a new found crush on him.

It all started when Sakura along with her girlfriends which included Ino, TenTen, Hinata and Temari got out of the club. It was already past midnight and all of them were drunk except Sakura who was very well aware that there had to be someone to drive them back home safely.

When Sakura drove her way to their respective homes, Ino, Temari and TenTen been drunk were moving, dancing, arm wrestling, screaming in the car much to her distress and annoyance. In their 'drunken rampage', they pulled Sakura to them leaving the steering wheel to no one which would've caused the car to crash into the tree ahead but thanks to Sakura who immediately pulled herself from them and turned the car just as it was about to crash, saving them all.

But unfortunately, it was all noticed by the sharp onyx orbs of the police officer who had his night shift that day.

Sakura banged her head on the steering wheel as soon as she realized that he was walking their way with his notepad and pen in one hand while the other had some kind of device that Sakura couldn't distinguish much.

That event led to their current situation.

Sakura was standing out while leaning against the car which was parked by the side of the road. She read the police officer's name on the badge pinned on his uniform— Uchiha Sasuke.

The said police inserted the tube of the breathalyzer in Sakura's mouth and waited. When he pulled it out and found Sakura's breath to be clean of alcohol, she smirked.

"So, do you always like to accuse someone for something he or she hasn't done and then fail miserably, Mr Uchiha Sasuke? If that goes on then you may fail to be an able police officer. I pity you." Sakura said with her smirk growing wider with each word spoken. She was well aware of the fact that she was exaggerating but it brought her so much pleasure that she didn't want to stop it. After all, he did make her delay to where she needed to go and accused her of drunk driving.

"Ms Haruno, it's my duty as a police officer to ensure public safety. You might've gotten into an accident if you were drunk and driving." Sasuke said as a matter-of-fact.

"But what matters is that I'm not drunk, period"

She said and began to take her leave but he immediately grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him.

Sakura was completely baffled but was quick to pull herself up and tried to get free of his grip. But it only tightened.

"What the—"

She was cut off short as he shoved the notepad and pen in his pocket and held her chin with his now free hand.

"It's not over yet."

He told her as he smirked and got closer and closer until their lips met.

To say that Sakura was shocked would be an understatement. She couldn't think straight as he only pressed harder and when he licked her bottom lip, she gave in after all she did want to kiss him for at least once. She caught hold of his hair in both of her hands and pressed herself further towards him if possible. She parted her lips and his tongue entered her mouth exploring the depth of it. Their tongues wrestled and obviously Sasuke's was the winner. He brushed his tongue over her teeth and palates and she did the same to his. She unconsciously tightened her grip on his hair as she massaged his scalp when he gently bit the tip of her tongue. It continued a little more until the demand of oxygen brought them at a loss of breath. They undesirably pulled apart.

The pinkette was blushing. She had her face pretty much the same colour as her hair. She looked at him and saw him smirking with a pale reddish tint gracing his cheeks. Their faces were still in close proximity fanning their breaths to each other's lips as they continued huffing after their 'war' had ended. Sasuke was the first to interrupt the comfortable silence.

"Double check."

He said as he left with a small smile adorning his lips.

Meanwhile, Sakura stood their and murmured while still blushing and smiling to herself.

"Now, I may get into an accident."
