A girl named Diamond McCall, sat in the back of the classroom while all the kids in her class were acting out. She knew she wanted to laugh and joke around but today wasn't the day. She was upset with her mom for not coming home last night. They made plans for this afternoon to go out to eat. However, Diamond knew since her mother didn't come home the night before all plans were canceled. As the day went on Diamond just kept minding her business.

After school, there were a whole bunch of kids crowded in a group. Diamond walked over to see what was happening. In her struggle to scramble to the front of the crowd. She saw 3 girls throwing a smaller girl around. The 3 bigger girls were calling her out her name and disrespecting her. From first glance, Diamond is the girl to catch your eyes and to everyone, she was just the pretty quiet girl, but little did they know she has a bad temper. The little monster inside Diamond was building up. She couldn't watch this little girl get beat up like everyone else. "Heyyyy leave her alone", Diamond shouted. Danielle the biggest one out of the group replied, "Mind your business". Diamond wasn't taking that so she jumped in to help the girl. Diamond got hit in the stomach and blacked out. She was throwing punches and kicks all over the place. Anyone who came at her or touched her she was ready to kill.

Diamond came back to reality when she felt someone holding her. She was off the ground and was kicking in the air. "LET ME GO!" Diamond yelled. "Will you relax if I let you go?" a deep voice answered back. "Yes," Diamond replied more calmly. She was let go and looked at the person who was holding her back. The deep voice came from a man who looked very familiar to her. Then it hit her, it was her uncle Gary. Diamond hugged him and Gary hugged back. "Why you out here fighting?" Gary asked. "I was helping the girl they were jumping! It wasn't a fair fight and I felt bad so I jumped in." Diamond responded. Gary chuckled and replied, "Just like your mother". Diamond didn't really want to hear anything about her mother. She let go her uncle, went over to where her stuff was so she picks it up and go home.

She started walking off when the girl exactly the same size as her tapped her shoulder. "Thank you, I'm Makayla," she said as she stuck her hand out. "Your welcome, I'm Diamond" Diamond replied shaking the girl's hand. "No one has ever done that for me, they have been bullying me since the beginning of kindergarten. I wish they would just leave me alone sometimes. I just don't do anything but they always bother me. But thank you once again. I appreciate what you did for me. I'll see you around...Diamond." Makayla yelled as she ran to her ride. Diamond only waved by and started her way home.
