this is a phan fanfiction that is set in 1985, therefore there are a few disclaimers i must establish before this begins.
as this is partially a gay love story, and it is set in 1985, there are themes of homophobia throughout. this may be expressed in slurs and threats of violence.
there is no mention of suicide or self harm in this other then one small comment on the death of Joy Division's lead singer, Ian Curtis. otherwise, this does not contain themes of either of those topics.
there is brief mention of bullying, and of drugs and alchohol later in the book.
this won't have sex, only brief mentions of it.
