Hey guys… im soo very sorry for updating after ages but things kept coming up. I know I kept saying I would update n I didn’t so im veryyy sorry. And I will try update faster from now.

Zachs p.o.v

I yawned as I slipped out of my bed. It was finally Saturday. It had been a week since my last encounter with Winter. To say I was shocked when I heard about her parents was an understatement. The thing is I don’t really feel sorry for her….who are you kidding Zach of course you do. Ok so maybe I do but then again nobody feels sorry for me do they? Not that I want sympathy anyway.

My phone beeped shaking me out of my thoughts. It was message from my best friend Taniya; my only friend.

Get ready quickish Zach. We’ll go in a while.

Ohh shoot I almost forgot. My mum was landing today. I quickly ran to the bathroom. I had no time to waste.

I had been sat here for the past five minutes. I didn’t know where Taniya was. I was just going to call her when I heard a door click open and then slam shut. I glanced up to see Taniya.

“About time you decided to come. I nearly thought u died in there” I said with a laugh.

“Haha so very funny Zach. It’s not my fault I had some problem with my make up” she said seemingly annoyed.

“Excuses excuses, come on lets just go” I said rolling my eyes.

She huffed along behind me. I jumped in to her black Peugeot. She quickly got into the driver’s seat and started the engine.

One hour later we reached the airport. It was precisely 3:00. Marissa (my mum) was to be here a while back.

“Come on, let’s go find her” Taniya said, switching her car off and jumping out.

I followed behind her.

After a while we spotted Marissa. She ran up to us quickly gave us both a hug.

“How have you been Zach? And you Taniya? I really missed you both” she cried.

“Fine, I missed you too” we both said simultaneously.

“I still don’t understand how you do that, but anyway come on lets get going” she said smiling at the pair of us.

Me and Taniya laughed. We always had a habit of saying the same things. We’ve always put people under the idea of us being twins.

Marissa’s p.o.v

We had reached home a little while back. It was soo good being back at home. I loved Italy but it still wasn’t like home.

“Zach, I still don’t understand why you didn’t come along. It would have been soo much fun if you did” I said smiling.

The moment the words came out I regretted it. His face paled up and I could see sadness in his eyes.

“I..I.made a..a vow never to sit on a plane, never. How can you risk your life? After my parents…..” his voice was shaking as he said this and a gush of tears poured out, from his eyes. 

My Eyes widened as it finally hit me. I felt a lump in my throat as I realized why Zach hated planes……his parents had died on a plane crash.

 Soo did u like it?? I know it was not about winter but you needed to know about Zachs parents…u’ll find out soon why..
