Pain. An emotion that you can't just get. You have to had expressed it multiple times on different occasions. Because in order to understand it, you must express it.
Pain. It's a wildfire spreading through the forest of strength, that makes you hold back the tears. But as we all know that trees catch on fire easily and quickly burn down before your very eyes. But that's how emotions are as well. The fire is pain. Our emotions are the forest. It doesn't take long before we break down into tears, anger, and sorrow. It's a beaver dam that's constantly being tested but never manages to keep the water flowing on the other side in the end. Sometimes, it's really hard to cope with pain, but we have to tell ourselves that it's just an illusion. So we try our best to harden in that snail shell of ours and keep the emotions inside of it. So we don't start a flood, so we can stop ourselves from drowning in our pool of tears and sorrows. Think happy thoughts they say... or do something to keep your mind off of it! But at the end of the day, do they KNOW what your going through? Like it's a walk in the park to get my mind off of that has been engraved into my brain, written with the simple word... PAIN!
These emotions come out like wild animals escaping from their cages. But they just don't escape for no reason. No. They come out because they know that it's not healthy to keep your emotions inside of the shell that you call a body. They know that the loss of your loved one had a designated cabinet full of memories and records kept together with a paper clip, filed in your brain. They want you to turn the papers into a movie that you can replay over and over again. Sometimes, you want to cry, but you can't.Because if you cry then God will feel upset and let the tears flow like a water fall because he loves you so much and wants you to be alright. So you must lock up those thoughts attached with pain and heartache into a safe and lock it up. You don't want God's tears to make contact with your skin because then your skin is stained with a reminder that you are hurting, then you feel sad and you will burst like a bubble.
You choke on every sob. Sometimes you feel like the world revolves around you, or maybe somebody is writing your story and you hope that the next few pages will be filled with the best things that life can offer! You hope and dream that things will get better.
PAIN...you don't know it unless you've truly experienced it.
