Hey I'm Emily, your average teenager. I go to high school, I have a major crush on this kid named Sam in my class, I'm co-captain of the soccer team; oh and I just found out the forest I usually day dream to is a real realm that is currently under attack by an evil band of warlocks that want to destroy all witches... but yeah I'm totally normal. Let me start at the beginning. I'm from a small town called Milandrek, its in the middle of no where in the middle of New Jersey. I have a loving mother who always wants the best for me but let's be honest, she's more harmful than helpful. Not in a really bad way, just super over protective and always on my case. My dad ran out on us when I was six and I don't really have to many memories with him but it doesn't bother me too much, my mom is all I need. My best friend, Kali, and I have know each other for three years and she's basically my other half. I'm currently a sophomore in high school and co-captain of the varsity soccer team. When my grandmother passed away she left me a bound leather book that turned out to be a book of spells. However, I still don't know how to use magic and it's been almost two years since she passed. The book just sits next to my bed with a picture of us on top of it. I found the forest previously mentioned when I was 9 years old and I go back every chance I get. It's like I completely leave my body and end up among the trees there. It's hard to explain. It has always been an easy way for me to escape reality, literally. I think that's everything you need to know.
Now that you basically know my whole life story, I need to warn you. This is not a story for weak souls. There are things in here you probably have never thought of, things that you can't believe humans would do to each other.
