Prologue.
"Make a wish darling."
Yousria thought and thought, but couldn't quit think of a wish, so she just closed her
eyes, pretended to make a wish, and blew her 12 candles. "Aw! Wonderful, my little princess just turned 12." Her mother said with a cheerful happy smile, and a look that could only show how much she loved her little Yousria.
"Happy birthday" said Sammy "I hope you like your gift." He gave her what seemed like a copybook, she looked at it weirdly wondering why did he possibly buy her a copybook? He knew she hated writing, in fact he knew that more than anybody. He wasn't only her neighbor; he also was her best friend. But before she could protest he said: "It's not an ordinary copybook; it's a special dream journal for a special Yousria." "Dream what?" Said Yousria with a mixture of excitement and confusion "What does that even mean?" "Here let me explain how it works" He took the journal from her hand and opened it "You see, here on the first page you write a list of your dreams and all the things you wish to accomplish, and then every time you accomplish something you go straight and write about it in the other free pages." "Well you know am no good at wishing, but I'll try for you." Said Yousria trying not to sound too ungrateful, but however Sammy didn't seem to mind. He somehow seemed to accept everything she does, even if it hurts him.
After the party was over and everyone was gone Yousria was alone with her dream journal. She slowly picked it up from the table where she left it. It was dark pink but still not quit red, with a little bit of glitter all over it. She opened it and for the sake of Sammy decided to write her first wish. "Make all my wishes and dreams come true." She wrote with her best hand writing.
