Wednesday

"Avery" my mom says in a soft tone while rubbing my back. "It's time to wake up."

I rub my eyes "what time is it?"

"Eight twenty" She pats my back "come on breakfast is ready." I moan and roll out of bed. After she leaves I shut the door and change into a comfortable outfit. I grab my phone and head upstairs, sitting at the table. She looks at me "I expect the phone to be turned off today."

I look at Alec "what about him? He's on it right now!"

"Hes spent time with us, you haven't." I roll my eyes and eat.

"Avery guess what we're doing!" Aaron practically hops out of his chair.

"What?"

"We're going fishing!" 

I stab a piece of pancake and shove it into my mouth "I don't want to fish."

"Then you can watch." My dad says scrolling through his phone. Once we finish eating my mom quickly washes the dishes and we get in the car. As I'm climbing in I see Tanner so I wave. "Gosh now I gotta make sure you don't sneak him in in the middle of the night." He laughs and pats my back. If only he knew. I sit in the back row and pull out my phone secretly. I quickly take a selfie and capture it 'Hanging with the fam for the day' then post it to Instagram. Plugging in my head phones I type Tanner Braungardt in youtube and start watching his videos. We drive for what seems like forever then he pulls off on the side of the road. "Fishing time!" The boys grab the fishing poles and tackle box, while my mom and I grab our chairs. 

She walks next to me and pats my back "we'll have great day today."

"Sure we will." We make it to the water and I set my chair in the shade. My mom looks at me like I'm crazy "What? I don't want tan lines." She sets her chair up next to me and we sit down. They fish for a couple hours and they only catch two fish. When it's noon my mom asks me to go to the car and get our lunch. I come back with the box of food and we sit and eat. 

All of a sudden my phone starts going crazy vibrating. My mom looks at me "I thought I told you to turn that off? Who's messaging you that much anyways?"

I pull it out of my waistband. "Oh my gosh."

"What" Alec says with a concerned look on his face.

"I just gained three thousand people on Instagram?" I refresh the page and the number keeps going up. "Seriously! This morning I only had sixty four!" 

I show him my phone "what did you do?"

"I don't know!" I quickly call Tanner, with looks of disapproval from both of my parents. "Tanner what did you do?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't be stupid, why are so many people following me on Instagram?!"

"Oh that! I posted that video and put your Instagram in the description."

"When?"

He pauses for a minute "five minutes ago?"

I hang up the phone and start pacing. "What happened?" My mom asks trying to calm me down.

"He tagged me in one of his videos. I don't want this many followers mama!" 

"Are you kidding me? I'd be ecstatic!" Alec says as he refreshes my page. 

My dad takes both of our phones "alright it's family day. Let's finish our lunch and get back to it."

After we finish our food I sit back in my chair, what am I supposed to do? I don't want to be famous. My life will never be the same... Maybe that video was a bad idea. They fish until five and I spend the whole time worry about what I'm going to do. We pack up the truck then head home. Once everything is unpacked in the garage I go up to my dad. "Can I have my phone back?" He reluctantly gives it to me. I hug him and run down to my room. As I plop down on my bed I open my laptop and facetime Tanner.
