I arrive at "Leah's" house. It's weird calling Liam Leah. I walk up to her door and knock on it. "Coming!" says a really feminine voice. The door opens and out walks a lady that does look similar to Liam. "Hey Kameron! How you doing baby?" Yep. That's Liam. "Heh, fine. Just tired," I half-way lie.
"Oh that's just great! Come in, come in." Leah leads me inside. Her house it kind of similar to mine, except it's a two-story with the bedrooms upstairs. I am awoken from my thoughts when she talks about Landon.
"How has Landon been doing? I saw him last night, but I still wanna know," she says with a long sigh, "Especially since his wife is pregnant. I'm still sad that I couldn't make it to the wedding..."
"Oh Landon is fine. His wife is fine too, if you were wondering."
"Good. I know how cranky pregnant women can get."
"Yeah. Everytime I got over there Lil-ah, Michelle is always eating something," I reply with a sigh. I wonder if I'll ever see Lilly again. I want to see her baby. I am the godmother after all.
"And I'm sure you're excited because you're the godfather."
"I am? Oh wait... Maybe I am."
"Well of course! I really hope they want me to be the godmother."
We talk about Landon and Michelle a lot until Leah has to leave for a interview for a new job. I also leave and head back to my house to get ready for work. If I even have work. Right as I walk through the door the clock strikes three. I go into my room and get this overwhelming since of dread. I turn to my bathroom and realize that I have to pee. "Oh geeze," I think to myself, "This is gonna be rough."
As it turns 4:36 I walk out of the house. It's good to be early sometimes. Turning on the car I think that maybe, just maybe, I don't have a job. That thought is quickly rushed out of my head and my phone's alarm to get ready for work goes off. A large sigh escapes my lips as I drive off. I pray that it's at the same spot.
I turn into the parking lot and hop out of my car. A man opens the door for me as I go inside. I thank him and head to the back room. I put on my apron with my name-"Kameron"-when I hear a voice. "Um, Kameron? Are you okay?" I turn to it. "Huh? Oh um, I'm fine yeah. So, what's up?" I ask, unsure of who the man is or who he is supposed to be.
"I'm fine I guess. Are you sure you're okay? You look dazed. It's me, Nathan?" This must be Nicole.
"Ah Nathan. Okay. Um, where's the boss? Hollie?" My hand flies up to my mouth as I say her name.
"You mean Harold? He's not here today, but if you're looking for the assistant manager, Gabriella, then she's in the office," I haven't seen the assistant manager much since I started working here, and I was the first employee. She's-well he's-only here when the manager isn't. Hollie is at work almost everyday. She seems to love to be there, though I'm not sure why.
I make my way up to the cash register-where I always start unless told otherwise. It's a pretty normal day. Of course nobody is familiar because, well, they're swapped. I took orders sometimes, but tended to stay on the register. I notice that Nathan leaves and I'm here alone. I look at my phone and read the time-9:59. I freak out a little and start to wonder what Shawn would look like as a girl. As I make up my mind about what I would want to see the door chime rang. In walks a girl so fucking beautiful my heart skips a beat. "Hey Kim! How are you?" she asks in the most sing-song voice.
"Um... F-Fine," I say, contemplating her name, "Sammy?" The dream from a few days ago pops in my head as I think of her name. (I think it's in chapter 5) "That's good. So... Are we still on for tomorrow morning?" she asks with a tiny of red on her face. I start to heat up as I realize she's talking about the date. "Yeah! Yeah totally. We are definitely still on," I practically shout. "Well it's good to see I'm not the only one excited," she replies with a giggle. My heart heats up as her face scrunches up into the cutest thing ever. She's so beautiful.

Hey everyone! I just want to apologize for not keeping the updating schedule. I may have to change that to updating when I feel like it because there are some issues I'm going through right now. We also have our tests and I have a trip on Friday and Saturday to worry about. I probably shouldn't be worrying about anything, but yay! Major anxiety!!
