Tucking the keys to the door under the old welcome mat so that the new family or their land lady would be able to find them easily, the young amethyst eyed teen turned on his heel and ran across the pavement toward the waiting car and jumped in the passenger's seat. Excitement bubbling up inside him as he shut the door, he rather zealously reached over his right shoulder and grasped the metal-plastic part of his seat belt, pulling it over him and clicking it into place then gave it a hard tug to ensure that it had been secured properly.

Yugi couldn't believe that this was truly happening. That they would soon be on their way to a new town in the same country but everything was going to be different this time. It was as if someone had placed his grandfather under a spell that had made him believe that what his grandson had said all those years ago to be true, that it was indeed time for him to retire and stay put doing what he loved in a town that was more his speed instead of having to continually keep up with the changing times. The Hikari knew that this would be good for both and though it may be hard at first, they both would soon grow accustomed to it.

Smiling brightly and nearly bouncing in his seat, Yugi watched eagerly as Solomon fastened his own safety belt and placed the keys into the ignition of the Corolla that they would be taking all the way to Domino. He couldn't help but allow his smile to brighten when he heard the engine purr quietly to life and felt the soft rumbling of the machinery beneath his seat. As if sensing this in him, the older man turned slightly to consider the sparkling amethyst eyes that he had known all his life. It was doing his heart good to see his grandson in such an elated mood which had only given him more confidence that what he was doing was indeed what Yugi had been seeking, as well as backing the fact that this is what they both had needed for some time now though he had just been too stubborn and hard headed to listen.

Solomon chuckled as he grasped the thin black lever off to the right of the steering wheel, arcing a brow as a weathered smile curved his lips which in turn caused his beard and mustache to arc in response. "Are you ready to go Yugi?" He asked, tightening his gripped hand.

Feeling as though his face would crack with the strength of his smile, the young male nodded rapidly "Definitely! Let's get going!"

Chuckling more and nodding again, Solomon pulled the lever down till the bright orange triangle on the dash came into alignment with the letter D, signifying that he had shifted the vehicle into drive. Carefully letting of the break and easing his foot onto the gas, Yugi's grandfather allowed the Toyota to ease forward down the drive before having it come to a stop once it had met the paved street. Glancing left then right, Solomon pulled carefully out into the alleyway behind the shop and navigated through the random garbage cans and stray cats that were periodically scattered throughout their current path. But it wasn't long before the two men had finally reached the end and repeating his method from before, the elder of the two eased the vehicle out into oncoming traffic then merged left following the flow that would take them onto the interstate traveling North. They were on their way to Domino.

There were a few times where Yugi was concerned that they might not make it there in one piece. They hadn't been on the road twenty minutes and his grandpa had already come close to side swiping five cars. "Grandpa! Watch the road not your phone!" Yugi exclaimed, as he realized what the problem was. His grandfather was trying to operate his smartphone's navigation app while he was driving.

"Gimme that!" Yugi yelled, snatching Solomon's phone away from him. "I'll make this work you just focus on letting us make it to Domino alive!"

"My driving is just fine Yugi! I don't know what you're talking about!" Solomon complained, as he clipped a red Chevy Silverado's mirror.
