Before I start this story I just wanted to get this out in the open, I have not been abused so I don't know 100% what it's like and I'm sorry if what I write and how I write upsets some people. I just wanted some people out there to realise that men do get abused, maybe not always by their partners, but men do get abused.
Domestic violence is a serious topic and two in five victims of domestic abuse are male, which means that more than 40% of domestic violence victims are male, while that may not seem like a lot, compared the fact that 60% is women, it does not mean we should ignore it. Abuse is abuse, no excuses.
And no one, no child, man, woman or animal deserves to be abused.
