Kaname was walking down the hallway, it was the middle if the night; not many people we're awake.  He was just wandering down the halls, he heard a commotion outside one of the rooms. He stopped an listened, not able to hear much of it; he tried getting closer, but heard the door knob turn. Immediately he hid in a corner where he couldn't be seen, peaking around the corner; he spotted a girl an lance? He tried catching her face but couldn't.
"Damn it, be quiet; I didn't call you in here to get caught." Lance hissed. The girl stopped an turned, and that's when kaname saw his ex Angela. She looked different, not wanting to be caught he waited til they left.
I've got to tell sandy. He thought an darted off to her room. Going down the hall he was stoped by her father.
"Kaname? What you doing about this late in the castle?" He asked raising an eyebrow at him.      "Oh just taking a stroll, I couldn't sleep. But now I'm heading back to bed; goodnight your majesty." He bowed an went to walk off but Terrance stoped him.
"You do love my daughter, don't you?" He asked out of nowhere.  He had found a chair in the hallway an sat down.
"Yes sir, I love your daughter. It may not seem like I do; but I'm trying so hard to keep her happy. But with her horse an everything; I'm having a hard time. I love her sir I do." He spoke claiming the other seat. "Why sir, what are you concerned about?" He asked.
"It's just, sandy has always had a hard time accepting people; with her mother not being here, Vanessa running amuck; an now lance here. I think it's getting hard on her, letting people in." Her father spoke fiddling with his thumbs. He looked tired, like he hadn't slept in days.
"Well all we can do is be there for her, give her the support she needs. She can't do this alone. But I need to go an talk to her now. Goodnight your majesty." He got up an walked off.
"Same to you kaname, same to you." That was all he heard as he darted down the hall, he was walking up the stairs when he heard a scream. It had come from sandys room. He ran to her room slamming open the door, he saw her tv on an only her in the room.
"Sandy? Is everything....  Alright?" He breathed. As he caught his breathe he kept looking around the room.
"Hmm? Yeah I'm fine, just watching this movie. Scary shit." She responded then screamed again, he turned to the tv where a killer was going after the girl running from him.
"Next time, will ya warn someone. It would help. Considering...." He stoped an looked at her, she had gotten up an was in front of him. She huged him out of nowhere.
"Thank you kaname, for being here; protecting my family, our kingdom. I don't know what I'd do without you." She thanked him then let go.
"Your welcome, but I have something to tell you." He sat beside her on the bed. She looked up at him an waited. 
"I was in the hall just walking, I heard lance in one of the rooms; but he wasn't alone. My ex Angela was with him, now I don't know what's going on; but if he's brought her here, then somethings about to happen. When it does.." He was cut off by her hands on his cheek, she put his hand on hers an looked in her eyes.
"Whatever happens, were in this together. Your gonna be protected, I'll see to it you are." She spoke then leaned in and kisses his lips gently, startled he back up a little but then kissed her back; sitting the way they we're, they kept kissing. She wrapped her arms around his neck an rose up. He wraped his arms around her waist, moving closer to her as they continued making out. They pulled away breathing an looking at each other, they smiled an she layed on his chest getting back to the movie. He had put his hand on her shoulder an was doing circles an he knew she'd fallen asleep on him. Smiling he moved them both an she curled up against his side.

  It was 11 at night, kaname was asleep but heard a loud bang; sandy shot up out of bed running out the door.
"Father! Father!" She shouted looking around, she saw people screaming an running. Out of nowhere her body began to glow, her hands we're glowing; her eyes had went from blue to purple.
"Sandy! What..." Kaname stopped an looked at where she was, she was glowing. So the legends are true, she's a half vampire, but with full blood vampire blood in her veins.
Kaname had thought an caught site of lance, noticing he was making his way to sandy; he ran an jumped in front of her, with his sword at the ready.
"Don't tell me your protecting her, you got no brains." Lance began laughing as he took in his posture.
"I got more brains than you ever will, and unlike you; I'm not here to hurt her." Kaname spoke keeping his stance. He looked back and noticed sandy had come back to her senses. Trying to get her attention, he moved back to where he was touching her arm.  She felt his hand an looked at him moving next to him slowly.
"Kaname? What's going on?" She whispered then seen lance an she froze.
"Ahh so you recognize me." He spoke an smirked then made a hand motion to another person. Seeing this, she looked up an seen a girl a little taller than she walking towards them; she looked up at kaname but the look he had once before changed.
"Angela? How? Why?" He spoke to her. Looking at her with hurt an disgust.
"Because my dearest kaname, I was sick of being with you.  I found lance last year, and we connected." She smiled sidistickly and held lances hand.  Lance looked at sandy but she was holding nothing but pure hate for him.
"You bastard! You left me for her! What did I ever do to you? I gave you everything! But I wasn't good enough for you. Is that it, you wanted someone more like you? Well you got it." Sandy yelled at him an a burst of light came from her hand an missed them by an inch. Shocked at what she did, she looked at kaname who wore the same looked as her.
"What was that?" He asked. He took her hands but when he touched her a shiver ran up his spine, he began to shimer a dark blue an looked at her.
"We're the ones, we control our lives; the things around us. If we chose to, we could end all of this." He spoke not realizing what it meant. Without notice Angela had grabbed kaname an pushed him to the side, he fell back against the wall; sandy was back in her trance once again.
"No!" He shouted an started to stand.
"If your smart, you'll stay down. I come this far to watch this happen. I will bloody well see to it it ends with her." Lance said pointing the blade towards him. No way out of it, he had no choice but to stay down, but he breathe an out of his hands shot a beam of light; knocking lance out of the way. He got up an tackled his ex to the floor.
"Your not hurting her! Not this time. You've done enough." He spoke as he used his powers to keep her down.
"Sandy! Where's my daughter?!" Her fathers voice came from the hall. He was shouting every which way, he poped around and noticed the scene.
"What's going on!" He stopped taking in the scene. That's when van came out an chuckled.
"Well I'd like to say welcome to the party, but thanks to my two minions it's not one. Shame though, i was looking forward to it." She cackled an walked up to sandy. She grabbed her by the arms an pulled out her blade, smirking she held her back.
"Before this gets more interesting; why not shine some light on the situation? You see sandy, your not just special; your something I'm gonna use. Heck I bet you don't even know why u glow the way you do." She kept going.
"Van... "Her father began but was inturupted.
"Terrance, you think just because you kept her in the dark; that by some miracle she wasn't gonna be told? News flash, I'm gonna tell her. She deserves to know. Sandy came out of her spell an looked around.
"What's going on? Kaname?" She looked around an seen him. Gasping she went forward but was stopped, looking at them she looked up.
"You stupid bitch! First my mother now kaname? Why?" She asked but shook her head. She didn't know what was going on..
