Chapter Forty-Five:
Different OceansOne's vanity is more fragile than one may think. It's easy for us to mistake shyness for coldness, and silence for indifference.
In true reality, we are just two divergent beings in very different oceans.
It's not that we aren't familiar to one another, the sparrow says we are all his children.
Sometimes, in this sea of life we lose our ways and drift into open ocean. Far away from the guidance of the friendly currents. We become so convinced life is better lived on shore.
That cogitation in itself is very naive.
We must remember that we are all created divine, we are to unify.
And when one of us sees the other drifting out of the main stream. Thy shall grasp thy ankle, and yank thee back.
For thus, you have saved not only the life of one, but your own.
But, what do I know? My words are like a game of Russian roulette with no bullets. Meaningless.
One's vanity is more fragile than one may think. It's easy for us to mistake shyness for coldness, and silence for indifference.
In true reality, we are just two divergent beings in very different oceans.
"Well don't you look delicious plenty." I complimented D'Angelo.
"Thank you kindly, how've you been sweetheart?"
A smile possesses my lips as I venture further into the studio room.
"I've been living, and I brought someone to meet you today."
D lowered the volume down of the instrumental that bled from the speakers of the studio room. He strode over to me, to see nine month old Nevaeh resting her head on my shoulder, catching some shut-eye. His neck stooped down to catch a glimpse of her, a soft grin tugging at his plump lips.
