Alexa Pierce was a descendant of Katherine Pierce, the manipulative vampire who's been on the run from the original vampires for over 900 years, she moved to Mystic Falls with her mother in hope of a 'new life.'
The Pierce bloodline was practically vampires, Alexa was aware of this and she feared that her mother; Alice Pierce, was hiding something from her.. a deeper, darker secret.
"Alexa, come on! Time for school!" Alexa's mother cried. "It's your first day! You can't be late!"
The young girl threw herself out of bed and headed downstairs, she sat at the table and began to ate her cereal. She watched her mother walk out the door and she began to think about her new life.
The founding fathers had formed Mystic Falls around the time Stefan and Damon Salvatore became vampires. They were turned because of Katherine, and Alexa felt responsible for this. She felt guilty for everything Katherine did to people.
