February 1: I Am Black

I am Beautiful because I am Black

I am confident because my skin is darkened

You can't stop my achievements

I won't stop you from talking about the complex of my skin because I believe in black power

I can stand and say I have made a great accomplishment and I am black

You tell me 'Your pretty for a dark skin girl' because you don't believe in black beauty

Whisper rude and disrespecting comments of my beautiful skin

Say my hair is THICK , but RUGGED because you see flaws of my beauty

I am black because I am beautiful

I am the darken skin because I am confident

Dreams won't fail me

Say what you please of me because God shaded me a tint darker for his black power

I can believe that black women are strong, loving , demanding, and Over-achievers who fight

#TeamDarkskin, only for a moment of media for light

Contemplating on things to come back to fire at me if I offend you

Say I have THICK LIPS that love the feeling of being touched..

I AM BLACK ,BECAUSE I AM BEAUTIFUL, CONFIDENT OF MY DARKEN SHADE.

Happy Black History Month<3
