"Kimberly darling where were you" Mariana said walking into the sitting room in her towels. Kimberly just looked at her with disgust before walking past her.

"Its legal now, I'm your step mother from now hence forth, so i want.... No, i demand the rest you'll give to rose"
Mariana said.
And that did it, those words woke up the beast in her.
Kimberly launched forward to Mariana slapping her had on the face

"don't you dare mention that name, don't you dare disrespect that name you b*tch" Kimberly said slapping her again. Mariana just stood there dumb founded not knowing what to say or do, she had never seen Kimberly this angry.

"And I'll do it again" Kimberly yelled at her just as Ricardo walked.

"S-she slapped me Ricardo" Mariana said faking a cry while Ricardo stared at Kimberly angrily

"Are you not going to hit me again?" Kimberly said staring directly back at him.

"Kim....

"Don't"
Kimberly said cutting him off
"you've lost the right to call my name"
Kimberly said before running to her room.
As soon as she got to her room she released all the emotions that was built up in her. If only her mother was here, things wouldn't be this way. How could Mariana her best friend, the one her mother loved even more than her at times betray her and get married to her father all in the name of money, but one thing was certain, she was going to get back at her no matter what she would pay dearly for ruining her happy family.

"Camila what are you doing here?" Miguel asked surprised by his mom's visit

"Can't I come see my son again?" Camila asked smiling

"Off course you can" Miguel said hugging her

"Hey bro"
Kendall said pecking him

"Hey ken"
Miguel said hugging her

"Stop it"
Kendall said playfully punching his stomach "that's boyish, I'm a girl"

"that hurts" Miguel said touching his stomach "so to what do I owe this visit" Miguel said after they had settled down

"Boaz wants us to continue that ball, so we're having it next weekend and you're to come with your girlfriend since you've found one" camila said smiling

"Bu... I, i mean.....

"Kendall said you've gotten yourself a girl or should i get you one?" Camila said happily

"No she's right, i have one" Miguel said smiling at camila while giving Kendall a ~I'll kill you look~

"Good, so we'll get going now cos i wanted to tell you in person and no excuses" camila said sternly

"Sure mom I'll come over" Miguel said walking his mother and sister out.
Now his trial just begun, how was he going to find a girl to go with him without her getting attached to him, she was the perfect choice, he told her to wait for him but she said she couldn't, she left him to go be with someone else but she was going to pay for it, he would make her want him again.

"Hey bro" Dylan said walking into Miguel's office

"Kendra definitely would lose
her job for this" Miguel said looking up at his friend

"Free the poor girl Miguel, my charm is irresistible"
Dylan said smirking as he sat down opposite his friend

"So to what do i owe this visit?" Miguel said fixing his eyes back on his computer screen

"What happened?"
Dylan said giving his friend a flirty look

"If I didn't know you too well, i would have thought you were interested in me"
Miguel said looking at him

"Off course i am, did you guys get down low"
Dylan said smirking

"No we didn't, she was drunk, i don't take advantage of people"
Miguel said

"Wow, our dear play boy has changed" Dylan said laughing

"Dylan, I'm quite busy, go straight to the point" Miguel said playing with his pen

"The ball" Dylan said

"I should have known" Miguel said sighing

"So who's the lucky girl you're taking with you?"
Dylan asked smirking

"That's a job I'm assigning to you since that's your speciality, find me a girl with no strings attached"
Miguel said

"Sure, you're gonna get the best of the best"
Dylan said smiling

"I want my taste and most importantly no underage"
Miguel said

"No overage also but for now, we're going for lunch" Dylan said standing up

"I'm busy Dylan, I have deadline" Miguel said looking back at his screen

"All work and no play makes Jack a doll boy" Dylan said

"All play and no work makes Jack a poor boy"
Miguel said looking at him

"That's why I have my pops" Dylan said nonchalantly

"He's retiring soon right?, I'll know how you continue with your lifestyle then"
Miguel said standing up cos he knew it was useless arguing with Dylan.

Dylan had been his childhood friend, the only difference between them was that Dylan was born with a diamond not even silver spoon while he was born into an average family but lost his parent in an accident that almost claimed his life, he was crying in the hospital when he heard that his parent died but luckily for him the Railings were in the hospital for they check up cos they were without any child then. Enquiries was made about him and when no family came forward to claim him the Railings adopted him.

"Until then I'm single and I'm gonna enjoy every bits of it" Dylan said
