Fourteen - One Thing

"Zayn", someone said and kissed my cheek. "Wake up", they continued and placed a kiss on my forehead. I hummed and opened my eyes, smiling at Liam. "Good morning", I said and he smiled. "I made breakfast, come on", he said offering his hand to me. I took his hand in mine and he pulled me up from the bed.

We walked in the kitchen hand in hand and sat down next to each other. I let go of Liam's hand and smiled at him. "Thanks for the breakfast", I said and sipped my coffee. "No problem", he said and shoved some scrambled eggs in his mouth. I chuckled to myself and took a bite of the toast. "When did you wake up?", I asked. "Half an hour ago, I think", he said and I nodded with a smile.

I heard my phone ringing in the bedroom and sighed. I ignored it and continued eating. "Are you not getting it?", Liam asked and I shook my head. "I can call them back after breakfast", I said and Liam nodded smiling.

We finished our food and took the dishes in the sink. I smiled to Liam and wrapped my arms around his neck, resting my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my head. "Are you okay?", he asked and I nodded against him. I pulled away from the hug, smiled at Liam and walked in my bedroom.

I took my phone from the nightstand and called Louis back. I walked to the living room and sat next to Liam on the sofa. "Hello, you called", I said when Louis answered the call. "Good morning", he said and I chuckled a bit. "Good morning", I said back. "Do you want to celebrate your birthday today with your friends?", he asked. "You didn't have much time for us yesterday", he continued and I chuckled.

"Did you have something planned?", I asked. "We could come over to yours and get some drinks?", he asked and I hummed. "Sure, who's we?", I asked and looked at Liam. "Harry, Niall and me", Louis spoke and I nodded even though he couldn't see me. "Liam could come too, maybe?", he continued and I chuckled. "I'll ask", I said and took my phone away from my ear.

"Do you wanna celebrate my birthday today with me and my friends?", I whispered and he smiled. "Sure", he said and kissed my cheek. I nodded and put the phone back on my ear. "Yea, sure", I said and Louis chuckled. "I'll let you know when we're coming", he said and hung up. "Yea, sure, cool", I said to myself since Louis wasn't on the line anymore and dropped my phone on my lap.

"We should get dressed", I told Liam and got up from the couch. "Why? Are you afraid that your friends will see me in my underwear?", he asked and I chuckled. "Shut up and get dressed", I told him smiling and walked in my bedroom. He followed me there and looked at me smiling. "I should go home so I can shower and change my clothes", he said pulling his pants on. "Okay, sounds good", I said and nodded.

He smiled at me and stepped in front of me. "I'll miss you", he said and kissed my bare shoulder. "I'll miss you too", I said and turned my head so he had better access to my neck. "Really?", he asked and kissed my neck. I hummed and nodded a bit. He put his hand under my chin and placed a kiss on my lips. "I better be fast then", he said and I chuckled a bit. "Yep", I said and he pulled his t-shirt on.

"Are you not getting dressed?", he asked and I shook my head. "I'll shower and get dressed after that", I said and he nodded. "I'll see you soon", he said and kissed me again. "Drive safe", I told him and he nodded smiling. He walked out of my bedroom and after a while I heard the front door shut. I looked down to my floor blushing and smiled to myself. "Oh my God, what did I get myself into?", I asked myself and headed to the bathroom.

I was sitting on my sofa, scrolling through my phone when the doorbell rang. I got up from the couch and walked to the door. I opened it and smiled to my friends. "Welcome", I said, stepping aside and opened my arms wide. "Nice apartment", Niall said and I nodded smiling. "Thank you", I said and we stepped in the kitchen.
