The Perfect Life

Beginning of the Year

Today is it! Today is the day I start my senior year! Now you all are probably thinking "Who is this?" well I am Octavia! Funny name right? Yeah I know it means confident, but I'm not sure what language but I know it means confident! I am a very confident girl, that's why I got the name.

The first class that I have is Algebra. I'm pretty good at Algebra but I get to do fun stuff because I am at college math level. While everyone is figuring out 3.14 I'm over here laughing while saying all of the numbers of pie! Anyway I sadly sit beside Judy Robinson. She is not the best kid, she smells bad, she talks weird, and even worse she farts when she gets nervous! It's very gross and weird like I said.

The second class I have is Gym. I am very active. I did gymnastics, soccer, basketball, and softball. I had practice and games almost every day. My metabolism is very high. I can eat a whole turkey and not get big. I know this because I've done it before! I sat beside Jacob Mackerd. He is soo annoying. He is also captain of the football team. He is also a player! He has dated every girl in the entire school, but me of course because I actually have a brain! He dates them for one day. IF their cute maybe two. Then uses them to make other girls jealous, then breaks up with them at lunch. He hasn't changed his "player" ways! Every time I look to my left, I just see him staring at me and winking at me. I feel like I want to throw up!

Next class is English. I love my class because I sit beside my best friend Logan. Him and I have been best friends since pre-k! I could never imagine a world without him. Him and I hang out soo much, that we now get mistaken for dating. Now to tell you the truth I wouldn't mind dating him. He is cute, funny, silly, weird, and also a great friend! I also sorta kind of might have a crush on him.

I look to my right to see him stare at me, then he looks away. He has beautiful blue ocean eyes, amazing black hair, perfectly chiseled face, and perfectly sparkly white teeth! Everyone says that he has a crush on me, but I wish he did.

It is now lunch time and for lunch today is Steak, carrots, Doritos, and either water, sprite, or flavored water. On my cheat day I get, whatever lunch is, and a sprite. On my diet days I get, my own lunch from home. Most likely a salad, fruit, or on great days....BOTH! I love eating healthy, anyway I will get most of the time, lemon water. I get my lunch to have it spilled all over me by Amanda Carson! She is the mean girl of the school. She has two minions. Hailey, and Kelsey. Hailey is the brains of the group. Kelsey on the other hand is pretty but stupid. She has great grades, but she does have her dumb moments quite often outside of school or class. In my opinion Kelsey is a LOT prettier than Amanda and Hailey combined! "Omg I'm soo NOT sorry." Amanda said. "Sorry I thought rats lived in the sewers?" I shot back. "How dare you!" she yelled back. "What's going on here?" said Logan jumping in! "That loser just called me a rat!" she said to Logan. "Yeesh she's right, you do look like one!" he shot back at her. "AH SCREW ALL OF YOU!" she said. She began walking away with Hailey and Kelsey. "Nice job!" Logan said while giving me a high five. "Thanks someone needs to put her in place!" I told him! "Yeah she's really annoying! She keeps on asking me if she wants us to date." he said while rolling his eyes. "Do you like her in that way?" I asked him. "Heck no! Are you crazy?!?!" he replied. 'Sorry I just thought...." I said while stopping. "It's fine!" he said.

After lunch it was free time. Usually free time only exists in middle school or elementary but here, they like to being back old memories. My school is great! Their are amazing, nice, and easy teachers. They make all of the hard stuff easy! My favorite teacher is Mrs. Malonia! She is soo nice. Sadly I don't have her this year. On another sad note, this is my last year before I go to college! I hope that I know someone at my college. Actually to tell you the truth, I might not even go to college. I want to explore, live life to the fullest! I want to have as long as I can, and not waste a single moment. Logan walked up to me smiling and all happy! "Hey Logan why are you so happy?" I asked him. "Because I asked Amanda out and she said yes!" he said so happy. "Amanda?" I asked back. "Yeah why?" he asked with some worry in his voice. "Good luck." I said to him walking away. "Wait what do you mean good luck?" he said. He grabbed my arm and pulled me close to him! Then I hear d a terrifying scream! "HOW DARE YOU!" I looked to my right to see Amanda with her angry face on. "I-it's not what it looks like!" I said. I immediately pushed myself off of Logan and I could tell he didn't like that. "YOU LIAR I KNOW THAT YOU'VE HAD A CRUSH ON LOGAN FOR YEARS! HOW DARE YOU STEAL HIM FROM ME! YOU'RE GONNA REGRET THIS!" Amanda said. She walked out of the hallway with her heels clacking on the ground. "I'm sorry." Logan said. He began to run to Amanda yelling her name.

It's been about 2 months now, Logan is still dating Amanda. I wish he wasn't and to tell you the truth, I like Logan. Quite a lot, I've known him since pre-k! I would do anything to get him and keep him and call him mine. I know that he is my best friend, but I think I love him. "Well well well, look who it is!" said Amanda walking up to me. I look in the distance to see Logan carrying all of Amanda's things. I couldn't even see his face because she had soo much stuff. "Logan?" I asked. "What do you want!" he said. He sounded annoyed and I didn't even do anything! "Do you want help?" I asked him. "No I got it just leave me alone!" he said.

Logan has been acting really weird lately. He isn't himself, actually he hasn't been himself since he started dating Amanda. I really want my best friend back.....

It is now 7th period. I have gym and so does Logan and Amanda. Ugh I absolutely hate Amanda! She is the worst. In gym class we are doing capture the flag! I love that game! Logan and Amanda were on the opposite team from me. Amanda began to ran, but she failed. I don't know exactly what happened but what I do know is that I was guarding the flags, when someone ran up to me. I tried to pull their flag but I slipped. I don't know how because my shoes have grip on the ground. Their must have been water or something on the ground. I hit my head hard on the ground and I began to lose consciousness. I was able to see and hear Logan and Amanda arguing. "IF YOU GO OVER THEIR WE'RE DONE!" Amanda yelled. "SHE'S MY BEST FRIEND!" he yelled back. "AND I'M YOUR GIRLFRIEND! SO YOU CHOOSE ME OR HER!?!" she yells again. "I WOULD DIE FOR OCTAVIA! IN FACT YOU KNOW WHAT I LOVE HER! I LOVE HER MORE THAN I EVER LOVED YOU!" he yelled. I see him running towards me. He picks up my head, lays it on his crossed knee, and strokes my hair and gives me a kiss on my forehead. "It's gonna be ok, I promise." he says.

I wake up to be in a hospital bed. I rub my head to feel stitches on my head. I looked down at my arms and their are IV's in them. I look around to see Logan passed out on a chair with flowers and a very big teddy bear beside him. I suddenly coughed and it woke him up. "Hey are you ok?" he asked. He jumped out of the bed and ran up to me and grabbed my hand. "Yeah I'm fine." I replied. I began to get very cold and Logan had a weird but nice instinct. He jumped on to the bed, slightly and softly pushed me over, and grabbed me and laid me on him. I was laid my head on his chest. I could hear how fast his heart was beating. He then put his hand where my heart was. Mine was beating fast as well. "How are you feeling?" he asked me. "I'm fine, I heard about Amanda and your break up." I told him. "Yeah do you know what happened?" he asked me. "Yeah I had some remaining consciousness to see the show!" I replied with a chuckle. "I love your laugh!" I said. "Awe thanks! I love your smile!" I said. "I love your hair!" he said. "I love your personality!" I said. "I love your eyes!" he said "I love you perfectly chiseled face!" I said back. "Ok are we just gonna name all of the good things about us?" Logan asked me. I looked up and his and he looked down and our lips touched! "Oh um..." I said awkwardly. "Ok I need to ask this!" he said. "Okay....? Ask away!" I told him. "Do you have a crush on me?" he asked. "Ok fine yes I do! I always have since the second grade!" I told him. "Wait THAT long?!?" he asked surprised. "Yeah that long! I didn't think that you liked me!" I told him.

After our little chat between Logan and I, I fell asleep in his arms. I woke up with Logan walking in with a tray full of my favorite foods! Eggs, bacon, sausage, pineapple, apple, and even better kail smoothie! I know the kail smoothie doesn't sound too great but trust me it is! Also he got me coffee to balance out the kail and the caffeine! "Good morning babe!" he said. "Babe?" I asked. "Omg I'm sorry I didn't mean-" he said. "It's fine." I told him. "Ok I can't hold this in any longer but Octavia will you be my girlfriend!" he asked. "YES!" I said. I jumped out of bed and I pulled my IV's out. I ran up to him and kissed him. He hugged me and I hugged him back. When I stood up I could tell something was wrong! I began to fall but Logan caught me. "Octavia what happened?" he asked me with worry! "I-I don't know! Logan I can't feel my legs!" I told him. "Ok here." he said. He picked me up and laid me on the bed. After he made sure I was comfortable he ran out of my room to find a nurse.
