Chapter one

Danny's POV
"Danny?" Sam said as she walked into the Fenton lab

"Sam!" I said as I stopped

"Danny, what are you doing?"

I was standing in front of the open ghost portal holding a green suitcase, in my ghost form "uhhh, going for a fly in the ghost zone... Alone... For a few days?"

"I'll go with you!"

"N-no it's fine I wanna go alone."

"Danny is someth-"

"Maddie! The ghost boy is in the lab! When we catch him I'll tear him molecule by molecule!" My dad shouted

"Good bye Sam."

I transformed and flew into the open portal, and towards Clockwork's tower. "Danny, I see you've arrived."

"Hey Clockwork."

"Your room is up the stairs, first left and there will be a door with your DP symbol on it."

"Thanks Clockwork."

"No problem Danny"

I flew up the stairs, and went to my new room, its walls were white, with a black trim, green carpeting, the bed was a wooden bed with a blue blanket, there was a green desk, a wooden dresser and outside the window was Skulker's island. I started to unpack, I put photos of my family and friends in the drawers of the dresser, then I quietly put some paper pens and pencils in the desk, and then I went back down the stairs, I should probably tell you why I'm in the ghost zone to begin with, you see, a while ago, Clockwork asked me to be his apprentice and stay with him in the ghost zone, and I hadn't agreed until I finally had enough of my parents saying they'd tear me apart if they caught me, so I came here and accepted being Clockwork's apprentice. "Danny will you set up some targets for your training later?"

"Yeah."

I float over to the small pile of wooden targets, that were shaped like Skulker, Ember, and The Box Ghost. I smiled at this because, Box hasn't attacked for a while and well he was my main way to get rid of my anger. A few hours later I went to be, happy and needing a full nights rest, something I rarely get. As I drifted off to sleep in my human form I heard something open the door I tried to sit up, but something was holding me down, something sharp like a needle went into my arm and I blacked out.

Unknown POV

The ghost child was so weak, and unable to stop me from doing that, the syrum, I injected into his arm kept him asleep as I picked him up, but as I walked out of the ghost child's room I stepped on a loose floor board in the door way. "Skulker put my apprentice down."

"Clockwork, I suppose you haven't heard about me hunting the ghost child."

"I have and his name is Danny."

"What's going on?" The ghost child said

Danny's POV

"What's going on?" I said

I looked up and saw Skulker's ugly face. "Gaah!"

Apparently I surprised Skulker because he dropped me. "Annnnd the ghost child is awake."

He grabbed my foot and started to drag me down the stairs, probably trying to knock me out by hitting my head on every step. "Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow." I said as he dragged me down the spiral staircase

"Shut up ghost boy."

"That's not my name."

"Oh well."

I was about to Eco-blast him, but when I raised my hands to blast him he cuffed them with something that neutralized my blast. "What the?"

"Power neutralizing handcuffs, got them from Walker, so get comfortable ghost boy, you're going to have those on for a very long time."

"No! Clockwork help! OW!" I yelled as my head hit yet another step

Suddenly time froze, and Clockwork walked over to me, he took the key from Skulker, unlocked the cuffs, picked me up, set me at the top of the stairs, nudged Skulker forwards a little and unfroze time. I was safe at the top of the stairs as Skulker fell to the bottom. "I'll get you next time ghost boy! When you're alone." He said with a menacing grin

"What does he mean?" I asked after Skulker left

"Danny I'm part of the Elder Spirit Council, so if a meeting is called I have to go, I'm aloud to take you with me, but-"

"You don't think I'm ready."

"No I don't, but now that Skulker has threatened you, I may have to take you, you are my apprentice after all."

"Really?"

"Yes Danny now go get some rest."

"Okay."

I walked to my room, closed the door, and got in bed, not knowing what waited for me in the morning.

Danny: Wait I don't remember ever running away.

Author: I know but I gotta make a story somehow!

Danny: Just don't make Skulker call me weak, because I'm not.

Skulker: Says you ghost child.

Danny: Not again!

Author: Skulker you can't try to kill him Intel after the story!

Skulker: Fine, after that can I put his pelt at the foot of my bed?

Danny: Dude you're sick, and thank you Author.

Author: No skinning Danny, Skulker! You're welcome Danny.
