"Daddyyyyyyyy" Dan whined from across the apartment.
"Yes Dan?" Phil replied quickly, knowing that Dan needed something.
"Can we go shopping today?"
Phil chuckled, "Sure baby, I just need to get ready and then we can go." he was expecting a much more serious matter, but he agreed to go anyways.
"YAYYY!!"
The two boys then got ready for their day out shopping. Dan decided to wear a white skirt with a light pink sweater, and Phil decided to wear a maroon button up with black jeans.

When they arrived at the shopping mall, Dan practically dragged his daddy towards the toy store. Many people inside of the store gave them dirty looks, considering that Dan was wearing such feminine attire that day, but Phil didn't pay any attention to them. He just wanted his baby boy to be happy.
Dan was grabbing lots of toys and stuffies off of the shelves, he was filled with joy. When Dan was finally done with his shopping spree, their cart was almost filled to the top with items Dan so desperately, wanted.
Phil had taken one look at the cart and said "Princess, you know we can't buy all of these. You will have to put some back on the shelf."
"B-but daddy" Dan stuttered out. He flashed his big brown eyes at Phil. He always got away with things when he did that.
Phil tried to give Dan and stern look and deny those precious eyes, but he just couldn't. He came here to make Dan happy and that's what he was going to do.
"Oh fine! I can never say no to you, can I?" Phil said, as he smiled and walked to the cash register while holding his little's hand.
As the couple was waiting to buy their items, Phil noticed people saying rude things behind them.
"Ha! Faggot!" Phil heard a boy, about 16 years old, say.
He replied to the ignorant boy by rolling his eyes. The boy wasn't fazed by this, so he kept throwing slurs at Dan. It really starting to tick Phil off now, so he said, "Mind your own business and find somebody else to pick on. You do not want to mess with me."
The tone of Phil's voice scared the young boy off. By now, almost everyone in the store was staring at them. Dan had hid behind is daddy, tears welling up in is eyes, because of this. Phil comforted him by hugging him tightly.
"You'll be okay baby, he's just a dumb teenager who doesn't know how to treat people right." Phil said.
"Okay daddy.. Thank you for standing up for me." Dan replied, wiping away his tears on his now red and puffy face.
"No problem sweetheart, now let's get you home."
The two boys paid for all of the toys Dan had picked out and drove home.
So, if you didn't know, this is my first story I've written on Wattpad and I'm slowly realizing that I have like zero amounts of creativity. Like none. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this short story!!
