Anointing

Listen, I know you may feel down

May feel like you're alone, that there's nobody else around

May feel like giving up, and letting go, giving in

But Imma tell you something right now, of all the mistakes you could make, that would be the biggest sin

Cuz if you give up on yourself, you giving up on Him

Just accept the anointing and let the Spirit flow within

I'm not saying life is easy, but this world will pass away

Eventually your story could be the reason why other people praise God for another day

This life aint easy, by any means

You can say screw the haters when you at the top of the key

I love my haters, cuz they keep me inspired

They show me who I wouldn't wanna turn out as even if ice took over hellfire

I'm with you man, I'm praying for you

But with Christ on your side, aint no way that you can lose

You just gotta accept the anointing, I promise you its free

As free as my ancestors after slavery was over

And as free as my cousin was after he was let go from coaching at Minnesota

You may wanna end yourself, but that's the easy way out

You've got so much value, inside and out

You got so much love around you, that you got the world in your hands

How many times you seen people go through something and they say it made em worse?

Your scars can help heal somebody else who feels like they been cursed

But He can save you from being heated, just like a kitchen stove

Your parents aint been there? He can be your father

Aint got much money? He can be your provider

Need rescuing? He already saved the world

Feel like giving up? Fall in His arms and let Him do the rest

I cant promise everything will be a field of roses from here on out

But He gives you a kind of peace that you really cannot live without

So let go, my soul, and trust in a higher power

This anointing makes you bold, instead of making you cower

Call on Him, and He will answer

Unlike cancer, there's a cure for depression, there's a answer for your questions, and there's peace for your stress
