have you ever felt like no one's there?my biggest fear is loneliness
heart sinking, cold hands and feet
heavy chest
different from a frosty winter's day
do you remember the days
of being young and snuggling up to someone
whilst placing your iced feet on them
it's like that;
but there's no one to annoy.
there's no one to listen
to the random thoughts you have
when you wake up at 2:37 in the morning
and there's no one there to laugh
at the pathetic lines you call jokes
It's just you.
think of it like you're in a quiet room;
you can hear your own heartbeat.
when you're alone, the
last thing
you want to hear is your own heart beating.
the simplest thing as a
thump thump
of another human's heart flowing is enough
to warm your fragile frame.
you nitpick at everything and anything you've ever done
wondering why
there may be seven billion people on the earth
but you seem to be the only one around.
