Chapter 20(ATWT)

Brittany's P.O.V

I groaned and rolled out of the bed walking towards the bathroom, sleepily wiping a hand  across my fave only to hit a wall and fall.

"Omphf" I smacked the ground, "Ow" I muttered sitting up to see I walked right into the wall, I sighed and stood up I looked over to the bed to see Damian sitting up trying not to laugh, I glared at him.

I flipped him off and hurridley walked into the bathroom, "Hurry up, you and Alyssa have some shopping to do" he called after me I ignored him and took a shower. Wrapping the towel around my body I walked out into the room Alyssa was standing in the lounge she smiled brightly and threw clothes at me they hit my face and fell to the floor, "Really?" I said she giggled, "Hurry your ass up I am ready to go" she whined I rolled my eyes and walked into the bathroom again and threw on the clothes really fast it was a lacy hollister shirt with shorts I emerged from the bathroom with my hair pulled up into a messy bun.

"Finally" she said exaspertated I rolled my eyes Damian was sitting on the couch I leaned down and gave him a kiss he slipped something into my pocket, "Don't look till you have left, also have fun" he said I smiled and pecked his lips and left the room walking after a very enthusuastic Alyssa who kept pressing the elevator button over and over again, "Alyssa" I said she looked at me inocently, "What?" she asked, "What are we going shopping for?" I asked she looked at me like I was dumb, "Your wedding dress, and I would say I am the maid of honor right?" she asked, "Of course" I said laughing at her face.

"I was only joking you could give it to-" "Alyssa I choose you" I cut her off she smiled and threw her arms around me jumping up and down, "I love you so much" she squealed, "Me to, oh elevator" I cried flinging myself at it keeping it open Alyssa laughed a walzed in it I rolled my eyes at my best friend, "Damian told me this morning when you woke up that when you got out of bed you were walking and walked right into the wall" Alyssa said giggling I glared at her, "I did not" I said crossing my arms, "Then why are you getting all defensive" she said I uncrossed my arms, "I'm not" I said sticking my chin high in the air.

She rolled her eyes, "Whatever" she said we walked out of the hotel and started walking towards the mall

15 minutes later-

"Why couldn't we have taken a cab, or Damian's car" Alyssa whined trudging behind I looked behind her, "You have got to be kidding me, Alyssa the store is right up here stop being such a baby" I hissed as people started staring, "Get your lazy ass over here people are watching" I said, "Or why couldn't we have used Damian's super speed, and strength to carry us to the store? Oh wait never mine" she said waving her hand dissmisviely I rolled my eyes.

I pointed, "Look there it is" I said she perked up and started dancing in her spot, psh looks like someone's not so tired anymore.

She took my hand and started dragging me towards the store I tripped over a curb, earning a glare from her I smiled sheepishly at her and let her keep dragging me, "Stop dragging me" I said

"No we are so close, I can just touch it" she said, "That's because you can" I said and opened the door

"Hello welcome to Bridal Shoppe, if you need help just ask me and I will be happy to help" the lady said we smiled and nodded.

~*~ 1 hour later ~*~

"I found it Alyssa!" I screeched we have been in this store looking forever now and I finally found it she squealed and ran to me from wherever she was the lady from the front, who's name is Patricia, "Oh it's bueatiful" Patricia said, "Try it on" they said in unison, then laughing it off. I looked at the size and frowned, "What's the matter?" Alyssa asked, "How the hell do you tell if it's your size?" I asked looking up, "Try it on, I promise it will fit you(A:n I will have a picture to the side of the dress because it's hard to describe, or I just can't desribe it, I am going to go with the latter) so shoo" she said shoving me into the cubicle.

"Watch the dress" I said paniky they just laughed, I ignored there obssesive chatter and tried on the dress, "Uh I can't get the dress buttoned up, or zipped?" I called out they laughed, "Come out, dear" Patricia called I rolled my eyes and walked out I tturned and she zipped it up and tied the sash, "You don't really pay attention now do you?" she asked I just chuckled in annoyance and earned a glare from Alyssa, "No I don't" I said turning around and looking in the mirror.

I gasped, "It's beautiful!" I said, "And I want it" I said turning around Alyssa had tears in her eyes, "My best friend is getting married" she cried flinging her arms around me I laughed, "I know it's a shocker" I said laughing.

She pulled back and looked at me, "Are you sure your ready?" she asked I looked her dead on and nodded, then thought maybe I should tell her about me becoming a vampire? She looked at me questionably, "Alyssa" I sighed out and fell on the couch, "What is it?" she asked I looked at her, "Me and Damian agreed I could become a vampire" I said queitly she shot up out of the seat she had saken into, "What!" she shrieked she looked so devestated by the news, "How could you?" she accused I looked at her with tears in my eyes, "I thought it would be for the best" I croaked, "Putting your life on this line is for the best!" she yelled I looked down at my hands playing with the ring thinking maybe I shouldn't have told her, "Fine" I said standing up and looking at her I wiped the last trace of a tear, "It is my choice, I just thought I would tell you" I said walking back to the dressing room I changed into my clothes and brought the dress to the front the lady looked up and smiled, "I will take this one" I said she nodded, "I hope I am not to rude, but I couldn't help but over hear your conversation with your friend" I froze and turned to her, "Yes?" I asked slowly, "How far along are you?" she asked I looked at her questionally, "What?" I asked she looked down to my stomach and my face went blank, "Your baby, how far along are you?" she asked sweetly, "I'm not pregnant" I said forcefully she looked taken aback, "Oh" she said.

I watched her carry on with her work, "The dress can stay here, till you are ready to pick it up and your total is $432" she said Iooked at the dress in awe, it's beautiful and not so expensive I gave her the card and she rang everything up and gave it back, "Have a nice night" she said I nodded and walked out the door, Alyssa left me. I looked down and scoffed my shoe and walked back to the hotel were Damian was waiting.

I am kind of sad, it's almost over, and I am not sure if I am going to make the next book I am having some mixed feelings right now. Anyways the dress is to the side I hope you like it!
