Heart's Desire

This is my first fan fiction. So please forgive me if it's lame. I also have another story of One Direction. Entitled NoteBook. Just saying. :)

Here it is. First Chapter.

Chapter 1

It is early in the morning and Arianna was in front of her mirror, brushing her blond curls carefully with a brush. This reminded her of how her mom would brush her hair every night, kiss her, and then tuck her into bed. Those moments are now gone because of one tragic car accident. She now lives with her best friend Carly and her brother Gavin in their little home. Her relatives were not to be found.

"Hey there!" said a cute voice from the doorway.

Arianna turned to see Carly, still in her pyjamas with a cup of hot cocoa in her hands.

"Hey, what’s up," Ree smiled. Arianna’s nickname is Ree, made by Carly of course.

"Oh the usual, what are you planning this summer?" Carly asked as she sat on the bed.

"Summer jobs," Ree replied while smiling at Carly.

Suddenly the door burst open. Ree and Carly stood in anticipation. Once they realized it was Gavin, the two girls shrieked and covered their eyes, for his dignity was not hidden.

"What are you doing?!" shrieked Carly.

"I need warm pants for my date and they're all wet!" he explained.

“Dude, you’re talking to girls here and you’re standing in front of us in your underwear!" Ree yelled, still covering her eyes.

"I need warm pants!" Gavin wind, "see? Touch it, their wet."

Ree and Carly extended their hands to feel the cloth. It was indeed wet.

"Did you pee on this?" Ree asked, taking her hands off her eyes. She decided to ignore the fact that Gaven was half naked in front of her.

"No!" Gaven protested, "It was my pyjamas."

After that, Gaven left. The two girls looked at each other and laughed.

"He peed on his pyjamas!?" Ree asked between laughs.

“Almost every night," Carly replied.

Down in the living room, Ashton was sitting comfortably on the sofa, and his laptop in his hand. His feet were on the coffee table and had a soda in one hand. Ashton is Gaven's best friend. Thought he has nice green eyes and brown hair, he is a bit of a girl geek. 

"Hey!" said Carly as she and Ree walked 'down the stairs. 

"Hey," Ashton relied as a smile crossed his face. Once he saw Ree, his sweet smile turned into a dull face. 

"What up, Clown?" Ree smiled at him, but Ash just nodded and turned to Carly. Their day started with some popcorn and movies, but then out of the blue, Gaven left and came back with something in his hands. It was a dusty old box that looked like could be quite old. 

"Guys, guess what I have!" 

"A woman?" guessed Ree. 

"A real job?|" guessed Carly. 

"A car?" guessed Ashton. 

"No, something way better!" he exclaimed, "toy guns!" Ashton had a confused look on his face as he turned to Carly. 

"Toy guns are better than cars?" he asked, which made Carly laugh. 

Then a rubber bullet went flying into Ashton's leg, which made him scream like a little girl. The neighbour’s dogs even heard it and started to bark. 

"Wow," Ree chuckled, "maybe you should join the Sound of Music concert!" 

"Quit it," Ashton pouted. A spit escaped Ree's mouth and Ashton yelled to complain. 

"Awe, what was that for?" Ash complained, "I said quit it!" 

"Oh sorry," Ree acted innocently 

, "I thought you said spit it." Ashton gave a scowl and walked into the kitchen to wash. 

"Blond-headed demon!" Ash shouted and pointed at Ree, which made Ree grin. 

“I just love picking on that nerd," Ree said grinning. 

"You love picking on everyone," Carly corrected. 

"Hey, not all," Ree said with her hands up. 

"You love picking on everyone!" Carly corrected. 

"Name five people you haven't picked on," Carly said with a playful sneer. 

"Well," Ree started thinking, while looking at the ceiling, "there are you." 

"You placed a cockroach on my pyjamas last night!" Carly reasoned, "I'm not counted." 

"Well, there's Fluffy?" Ree said. 

"Who's Fluffy?" asked Ashton. 

"My neighbour’s dog," answered Carly, "but he's still not counted." 

"What? Why?" pouted Ree. 

"Last week you threatened to take him to a hot dog factory just because he took your wiener!" reasoned Carly. 

"A thief dog, yeah!" said Ree. 

"That weaner was already on the floor!" Carly reasoned. 

"Five second rule?" Ree smiled. 

"You left it there for a week!" Carly exclaimed. 

"Fine..." Ree pouted. 

Ashton just stood there, laughing at Arianna's stupidness. He then suddenly remembered something. He remembered the reason why he came. 

"Guys, One Direction are having a concert," he said. 

"Shut up!" Carly shrieked, "One Direction?!" Carly asked and making sure she wasn’t mistaken. 

“Yeah, girl”, Ree jumped with her. 

"I love One Direction!" Carly said. 

"What about you, Ree?" asked Ashton 

"I just don't think they're that cool," she shrugged. 

"Whatever," Carly rolled her eyes all playfully, "Just go with me, ok?" 

"To the concert?" Ree asked. Her fingers were crossed, hoping she meant going to a market, not the concert. 

"Of course”, Carly smiled. 

"Sure," Ree replied, smiling. Once Carly turned away, she sighed. 

"I don't want to go!" Ree yelled in her mind. She didn’t have a choice though. He best friend wanted her there, and since she is a good friend, will go with her.
