When I loom at you all I see is red
A slender figure and blood on your hand
Cut you down and be cliché
Wilt away and I will pray

The scent of you is what I crave
So exotic, earthy, and sweet
You show up and I can't stand
Across the room, dancing with another man

In my lonesome you're on my lips
Open my eyes and you vanish
You're my drug, can't make me stop
Do it again just to drop

In the distance, I hear that sound
A sweet melodic voice
I guess that's why they call you siren
For I'll dive straight toward that island

When we touch you start to dry
Imagining the things undone
But as I hold you in my arms
You stab me with your thorns

In the end, we both lose
You lose life, and I lose you
So touch me once more and say "I love you"
For when you go, all that's left is a single rose
